A credible source has said  that the embattled Minister of Aviation, Stella Oduah has cried out to her friends that she doesn't know why it's only her own wrong doings that are being exposed by media. She is said to have told her friends that she's not the only one with fake certificate in government today. Also, Yakubu Dati, her spokesman in aviation industry, told BBC that they wont respond to the scandal and it is surprising to Nigerians that the Presidency is yet to say anything about this BIG fraud by Stella Oduah.

The suspects were recommended for release by a Joint Investigation Team, The Defence Headquarters on Friday said that President Goodluck Jonathan had ordered the release of 165 suspected terrorist. The suspects comprised of people arrested during military operations against the Boko Haram in the North Eastern part of the country. The military spokesperson, Chris Olukolade, in a statement said that the suspects, mostly those earlier recommended for release by the Joint Investigation Team, JIT, would be released to their respective state governments. “Over 165 persons apprehended in the course of military operations on terror in three states in the North-East are to be released from custody in compliance with Presidential directive,” Mr. Olukolade, a Major General said

A middle aged man, Babagana Mohammed, has been sentenced to spend 10 years behind prison bars after being convicted of rapé. The sentence was handed down by a High Court in Maiduguri, Borno State capital and it was established that the convict was fond of sexually assaulting a married women. Babagana, according to reports from his community, had a reputation for forcing his way with married women, until luck ran out on him, when he decided to commit the crime closer home, when he attempted to rape the young wife of his best friend, whom he visited after her husband had travelled out of town. According to the Registrar of the High Court, Barrister Sanda, Babagana was sentenced in accordance with the provisions of Section 283 of the Penal Code of Nigeria. Justice Wakil had, while pronouncing the judgment, observed that “the crime of rapé has assumed a universal dimension and therefore people should be wary of associates and acquaintances with such evil tendencies”. It has now been confirmed that one of the ladies who was brutally tortured by some men in Ejigbo Lagos in 2013 has died. The woman who was identified as Julie was said to have been brought from her home town in Topa, Badagry, to work as a canteen attendant in the market. Recounting her ordeal, Mrs Ajoke Agomah said that she was also stripped, tortured and blended pepper poured into her private part... Confirming the death of daughter, Mr Filma Agomah said Julie died in Badagry while his wife and the other 12-year-old daughter have relocated to Ilorin, the Kwara State capital. He added that his wife and daughters were tortured by members of the Odua People’s Congress, OPC, who later sacked him from his apartment.

The National Broadcasting Commission, NBC, has ordered the Broadcasting Society of Nigeria (BON) and the Independent Broadcasting Society of Nigeria, IBAN, to lift the ban imposed on all Nigerian artistes registered with the Copyrights Society of Nigeria ( COSON). 2 days ago you read that controversial Lagos pastor Sign Fireman had been arrested by Lagos police over the alleged ritual murder of a 12 year old girl, Bose Ogoja, after the girl's killer, 18 year old Ikechukwu claimed he killed her following instructions from Pastor Sign Fireman. (If you missed it, read it  here ). Well, the boy's mother has spoken out and says his son has never met the founder and Head Pastor of Perfect Christian Mission. Mrs Esther Egbo told reporters yesterday that they were members of the Badagry brand of Fireman's church and in the two years they've been in the church, they have never set eyes on the man.
