See what a man allegedly did to his wife (photo)

Image
This woman's husband did this to her. Apparently this photo is being passed around on BlackBerry. They say her name is Yejide and her husband allegedly attacked her with an iron belt after suspecting her of infidelity. When I asked how a belt can do that to her body, they claimed it's because of the cream she uses, it left blood clot all over her skin (if that makes any sense). Anyone know who this woman is? What really happened to her?

Soludo Strikes Again, Identifies Another N8.6 trillion Naira Missing Under Okonjo Iweala's Watch

Image
A former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Chukwuma Soludo, has reaffirmed his claim that at least N30 trillion of Nigerian money has either been stolen, diverted or unaccounted for in the last few years under Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala as finance minister. He however said that does not include the about N8.6 trillion the African Union said is stolen from Nigeria annually. In a statement Wednesday, Mr. Soludo said he stood by statements he made in the last one week exposing the rot in the Nigerian economy, and accusing President Goodluck Jonathan and Mrs. Okonjo-Iweala of ineptitude. Mr. Soludo however said he would no longer release the second and third parts of his promised three-part response to Mrs. Okonjo-Iweala’s reply to his first article on the state of the economy. Mr. Soludo’s first salvo at the government, alleging extensive abuse and corruption in the system and grading Mr. Jonathan and Mrs. Okonjo-Iweala “F” on economic management, triggered a combat

Boko Haram fighters slit civilians’ throats and torched the main mosque in the Cameroon border town of Fotokol during an attack on Wednesday repelled by regional forces, residents said. Another resident who had fled to another town told AFP he knew of at least 10 people who had been killed. After several hours of clashes Cameroonian troops, backed by Chadian forces who scrambled back from Nigeria to help guard the town, managed to repel the assault. “People are coming back little by little to assess the damage. The survivors among the attackers have left the town,” a source close to the Cameroonian security services said. No official death toll was immediately available. An American woman held by ISIS, What Horror Awaits Her?

Image
As reported by Yahoo News, “President Barack Obama says the U.S. is doing everything in its power to try to rescue an American woman being held by Islamic State militants. A day after a Japanese journalist held by the militants was purportedly beheaded, Obama says the U.S. and its allies are deploying all available tools to identify a 26-year-old U.S. aid worker’s location. He called her captivity heartbreaking.” “The woman was captured last year in Syria while working for aid groups. U.S. officials have asked that the woman not be identified out of fears for her safety. Obama says he has watched videos of hostages being beheaded. He says “the terrible stuff that’s happening” is part of the reason why the U.S. has to be aggressive in going after Islamic State terrorists.” I find it unconscionable that President Obama refers to the savage and barbaric beheadings as “the terrible stuff that’s happening.” Downplaying the actions of ISIS is commonplace for the Obama

Pastor Tunde Bakare Refutes The Claim That Coscharis Gave him A Rolls Royce Car

Image
The Serving Overseer of Latter Rain Assembly and President of Latter Rain Ministries, Pastor Tunde Bakare, has refuted a Saharareporters story today which claimed that Cosmas Maduka of Coscharis Motors had attempted to bribe him with a Rolls Royce Phantom luxury car. The pastor, speaking to SaharaReporters on the phone from Lagos, said he never told anyone that Coscharis was the source of the car gift he rejected during his 60th birthday celebrations. He said the car was not an “attempted bribe”, as reflected in our story, but a gift. He explained that he rejected it because he did not need a luxury car of that magnitude while Nigerians wallow in abject poverty. Asked if he knew how the car was purchased or by whom, Pastor Bakare said he couldn’t tell, but vehemently denied that Coscharis had anything to do with it. Coscharis has not officially denied involvement in the car gift saga. The automart had publicly stated in 2013 that it has the official

PIERS MORGAN: Watching ISIS burn a man alive was the most abominable thing I have ever seen (PHOTOS)

Image
My finger hovered over the ‘click’ button. I’d heard that ISIS had burned a young Jordanian pilot alive in a cage, and there were numerous people posting the snuff movie on social media. I wanted to watch it. To see for myself whether it really was, as many claimed, the ‘sickest video ever made’. But I hesitated. I don’t ‘need’ to see a man burned alive. Nobody ‘needs’ to see such an abomination. It’s diabolical enough that it happened at all. Why compound the misery of that man’s life ending by acting as some kind of complicit voyeur? Then I pressed click anyway. I watched those murderous bastards light up a trail of petrol into a small cage, I watched as Lieutenant Moaz al-Kasabeh caught fire, and I watched as he screamed in horror and burned to death. It was just as repulsive and sickening as I feared it would be. Truly the worst thing I have ever had to witness, and as a journalist for 30 years I’ve seen a lot of

"Obasanjo to launch banned autobiography, My Watch, with the Royal African Society in London"

Image
Former Nigerian president Olusegun Obasanjo is to launch his autobiography, “My Watch”, with the Royal African Society next Wednesday, 11 February 2015, at the Royal Society of Medicine in central London. Obasanjo will be in conversation with Richard Dowden, Director of RAS, to present his three-volume autobiography, which has controversially been banned in Nigeria on accusations of libel, ahead of a crucial and closely fought presidential election. “My Watch”  follows in the steps of his previous memoirs,  My Command  and  Not My Will , and spans large expanses of time, from pre-colonial Owu history to early Abeokuta and the last throes of an independent city state at turn-of-the-century colonial Nigeria. The three-part memoir explores Obasanjo’s early years, his civil war experience and his stewardship of the transitional government of 1976-1979, as well as covering his tenure as a civilian president on Nigeria's return to democracy in 1999 and his subsequent compl

Nuhu Ribadu defends Okonjo-Iweala, says N30trn can't go missing under her

Image
Former EFCC Chairman and PDP Governorship candidate in Adamawa state, Nuhu Ribadu says the allegation by former CBN Governor Charles Soludo that N30trn had gone missing under the watch of the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the economy, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala wasn't true In an interview with NAN, Nuhu Ribadu said it was not possible to have such a huge amount of money go missing in an office she assumed about three to four years ago... "I was baffled and got deluded for anyone to say that N30 trillion got lost. I think we just have to look at what we earn as a country and what our budget had been in these few years and see how possible it is. If everything we earned is not up to that within the period she has been the minister, which is about three to four years, then we need to be careful. We need to be careful to avoid more damage to our nation, because there are certain things that when it comes out, it will never go back again.". M
