In a new interview with  Sunday Sun , actor Ramsey Noah recalled the years before the fame and money. "Those were the times when things got really bad for my mother and I and we had nothing. It was so bad that we didn’t have a home or shelter to live in. We had to stay in a store, a small store that could take only one mat. My mother and I squeezed ourselves in that mat. We didn’t even have a cup to drink water not to talk of a stove to cook. And my mother had to borrow, beg and stuff like that. These were moments when I was young I didn’t realize the gravity of poverty we were in, I couldn’t tell. But it was a good orientation for me. It was moments that I thank God for making me past through, because that has sustained and helped me even as an actor. At least, 80 Boko Haram insurgents were killed, while 2 soldiers lost their lives when some Boko Haram insurgents laid ambushed on the military personnel on their way to Damboa, the headquarters of Damboa local government area of Borno state. North Korea has threatened more attacks against the U.S. government and other American institutions in the wake of the hack on Sony which cancelled the release of The Interview. Former governor of Borno State, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, has opened up on what he knows about the Boko Haram insurgents currently ravaging states in the northeast and some other parts of the country, while disclosing that only the neighbouring Republic of Chad could help solve the menace. Justice Kudirat Jose of a Lagos High Court, has convicted and sentenced Promise Ntuen Ekemini to one year imprisonment, for hijacking the e-mail of a lawful owner of a property, located in Western Australia valued at $800,000 and attempting to sell the property.  He was arraigned in April, 2014 on a 5-count charge bordering on conspiracy to defraud, attempt to obtain money by false pretences and forgery. Justice Jose found him guilty of all the charges and convicted him. His sentence will from the day of his arraignment.  Ekemini got into trouble by impersonating Brian Roderick Daniel, owner of a property located at No. 143, Sprinaway Parade, Falcon, Western Australia and offering his property to buyers on the internet without the consent of the owner. The Australian Police alerted the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, to monitor a controlled delivery of some documents related to the transactions to Ekemini. H

A teenager was accidentally killed during a Saudi raid against "terrorists" in a town populated by minority Shiites, residents of the area said on Sunday. The interior ministry said it killed four militants during Saturday's operation in Awamiya town to arrest the suspects who shot dead a soldier a week earlier. But residents gave the toll as five and said they included a youth aged 16 or 17. "One of them I'm sure is not involved," an activist in the area said. "He was killed in his car." A resident of Awamiya said the youth appeared to have been killed "by mistake. One of the bullets got in his neck, while he was driving." Both sources declined to be named. Asked about the claims, the interior ministry said that police in the Eastern Province, which includes Awamiya, were to issue a statement. Pakistan on Sunday executed four more militants after ending a six-year moratorium on the death penalty following a Taliban school attack that killed 149 people, officials said. The hangings follow those of two convicted militants on Friday after death warrants for the six men were signed the day before. “Ghulam Sarwar, Rashid Tipu, Zubair Ahmed and Akhlaq Ahmed have been hanged for an assassination attempt on General Pervez Musharraf”, Pakistan’s former leader, a prison official in the eastern city of Faisalabad told AFP.
