EBOLA VICTIM: Terrified relatives dump an Ebola victim on the street for fear of contacting the virus in Liberia

Image
A young man lies dead in the streets of Liberia, left to rot in view of passers-by and local children. He is just one of many Ebola victims to have been dragged out of their homes and dumped on the country's roads by terrified relatives in a desperate bid to avoid being quarantined.  The deadly virus, which can cause victims to suffer from severe bruising and bleeding from the eyes and mouth, has claimed the lives of nearly 900 people across West Africa so far.  Today, Information Minister, Lewis Brown, said locals had started dragging their loved ones' bodies onto the streets out of fear that the new government regulations would risk their own health.  With less than half of those infected surviving the disease, many Africans regard Ebola isolation wards as death traps, he said.  'They are therefore removing the bodies from their homes and are putting them out in the street,' Mr Brown told Reuters.

Image
Disturbing reports have it that the infected Liberian went into a rage when hospital workers informed him of the diagnosis According to FrontPage Africa, the last acts of Patrick Sawyer, the Ebola infected Liberian who died in Lagos, might have resulted in the transfer of the virus to innocent health workers. Mr. Sawyer is said to have had an "indiscipline" encounter with nurses and health workers at the  First Consultants Hospital  in Obalende  where he was being treated. According to the report, Mr. Sawyer was asked if he had come into contact with anyone who had the virus but he answered in the negative. The Boko Haram Chief Butcher, Zakari Mohammed Ardo, has said that he slaughtered “only five people” while operating with his fellow sect members. Ardo, who was on Wednesday paraded before journalists at a police facility in Abuja, said it takes him two minutes to slaughter any human victim marked for the slab. The suspect said he was the leader of a five-man team of butchers. According to him, the four other members pinned the victim down while he cut the throat. The 30-year-old suspect, who spoke to journalists through an interpreter (he spoke in Kanuri), said he joined Boko Haram in 2012 and had been operating with the sect until his arrest on July 12. Experimental drug likely saved Ebola patients

Image
(CNN) -- On Thursday, Dr. Kent Brantly thought he was going to die. It was the ninth day since the American missionary worker came down sick with Ebola in Liberia. His condition worsening by the minute, Brantly called his wife to say goodbye. Thankfully, the call was premature. Brantly is back on his feet -- literally -- after receiving a last-ditch, highly experimental drug. Another American missionary with Ebola got the same. Brantly's and Nancy Writebol's conditions significantly improved after receiving the medication, sources say. Brantly was able to walk into Emory University Hospital in Atlanta after being evacuated to the United States last week, and Writebol is expected to arrive in Atlanta on Tuesday. On July 22, Brantly woke up feeling feverish. Fearing the worst, Brantly immediately isolated himself. Writebol's symptoms started three days later. A rapid field blood test confirmed the infection in both of them after they had become ill with fever, v

ORIGIN OF EBOLA: Ebola Virus A Biological Weapon That Came From Western World?

Image
Ebola as a Biological Weapons Agent As a biological weapons agent, the Ebola virus is feared for its high case-fatality rate. Because of its rarity, the disease may not be diagnosed corrected at the onset of an outbreak. Reports suggested that the Ebola virus was researched and weaponized by the former Soviet Union’s biological weapons program Biopreparat. Dr. Ken Alibek, former the First Deputy Director of Biopreparat, speculated that the Russians had aerosolized the Ebola virus for dissemination as a biological weapon. The Japanese terrorist group Aum Shinrikyo reportedly sent members to Zaire during an outbreak to harvest the virus. There is no doubt that Ebola has been experimented with and that is documented, so it leads to the question of whether someone has perfected the bio-engineering of the Ebola virus and if Guinea was a testing location. http://beforeitsnews.com/science-and-technology/2014/03/bio-engineered-ebola-weapons-test-on-guinea-over-70-dead-2684718
