A gas explosion rocked Arakele road in Akure, Ondo state this evening Dec. 13th, killing several people. According to eyewitnesses, the explosion happened at a gas station in the area and the fire from the explosion spread to residential houses within the area. A man in his early 40s is frantically searching for his wife and seven children. He has not sighted them for more than three months after their Vi village in Adamawa State was invaded by the deadly Boko Haram sect on September 7. Matthew Zira said he had conducted all the search he could without the luck of finding any of them alive or dead.  Now, he is roaming the streets of Jos, the Plateau State capital, frantically searching for his beloved family members.
