The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Adamu Mu’azu, has ruled out a landslide victory for the party in the forthcoming general elections. The PDP has formed the federal government as well as most of the state governments since the return of democracy in Nigeria 16 years ago, following its victory in the 1999, 2003, 2007 and 2011 elections. President Goodluck Jonathan is the PDP candidate in the March 28 presidential poll. In a statement on Thursday, Mr. Mu’azu said he did not foresee a landslide victory for his party in the coming elections billed for March 28 and April 11. He however said he was confident the party will win the elections.
