Hours before the final results of the just concluded governorship election in Anambra State was announced on Sunday, candidate of the All Progressive Congress, Senator Chris Ngige, said he was weeping for Nigeria over the alleged inability of the Independent National Electoral Commission to conduct credible polls. He said the result was predetermined as a result of the series of warning of recurring irregularities that was ignored by the commission, adding that if the election was not cancelled his only option would be to seek redress at the tribunal.
