Buhari should be in jail, not contesting elections – Asari Dokubo rants

Image
In a classic case of a ‘pot calling kettle black’, a former Niger Delta militant leader says that a former dictator is ‘immoral’ and ‘ought to be in jail’. Leader of the Niger Delta People Salvation Front, Mujahid Dokubo-Asari, has stated that the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Muhammadu Buhari, should not be allowed to get close to power as he’s a disaster waiting to happen. Speaking at a solidarity rally for President Goodluck Jonathan in Warri, Dokubo-Asari stated that it shall be gun for gun, bullet for bullet, bomb for bomb should Buhari attempt to cause chaos after losing the election. “He is a spent force with a stale mind incapable of leading a multi complex Nigerian State,” he said. Dokubo Asari described Muhammadu Buhari as a tyrant and unrepentant dictator who ought to be stripped of his military honours as he rose the rank and file by unfair, immoral and corrupt means. He said: “All persons of who believe that never again sho

Nigeria elections: Nation split in Jonathan-Buhari contest - BBC

Image
Supported of the president are confident that he will defeat his rival In Nigerian elections, the incumbent always wins. But so far this campaign has been different from all others and this Saturday's poll is a real contest. Not only has President Goodluck Jonathan haemorrhaged support since he comfortably won in 2011, the "change" chanting opposition has thrown its combined weight behind one candidate - former military ruler, Muhammadu Buhari. In a country where opinion polls can be trusted about as much as a politician's promise, it is hard, even foolish, to predict the outcome. With control over Africa's largest economy at stake - this is a country where multi-billion dollar corruption scandals come and go - the campaigns have been toxic with both the ruling People's Democratic Party (PDP) and opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) hurling abuse at each other. 'Shameless' In this diverse nation of immense potential, region

How To Beat Your Wife - By Charly Boy

Article written by Charles Oputa. Read below.. When I look back at my life, and all the stuff I did as a carefree, young and restless youth,  I can't help but shudder at some of my very bad habits. Yes, I was once short-fused; blowing off at the slightest provocation. It was pitiful. Over time I have managed to rid myself of such sad habits but that can't be said for a lot of men some of who, even late in their lives can't still get over it, thereby losing their cool in their homes. No be small thing sha. Domestic violence is an under reported crime in Nigeria, almost accepted as norm. Some  men feel it's their right, some feel it's always the women who bring out the beast in them, while others will readily admit its a way of stamping their authority in the home. Sadly, many don't see anything wrong with beating their wives. How sad! Yes, am aware there are women who beat up their husbands, but those are in the minority and this piece ain&

Can This Be True? Couple having sex on moving motorbike caught by police after photo went viral

Image
Imagine this! A couple who were photographed having sex on a moving motorbike (is that even possible?) traveling along a public road in India have been caught after a shocked motorist driving behind them took a photo and shared it on Facebook.   The man shared the photo and wrote "Have sex riding a bike ... No one will stop you ... This is Goa ... This broad daylight sex show took place right on the Mandovi bridge on Sunday afternoon. Not a single policeman on the way to stop them. A passer-by happened to click this picture. What do you have to say?" After the pic went viral, Goa police swung into action and tracked down the couple using their number plate. But I don't even know why they bothered to because when they found the couple, they only fined them 1,000 Rs which is about $15.
