A recently released scientific study of the reason why women sometimes fake orgasm during sex took our correspondent to the streets of Lagos to confirm its authenticity from Nigerian women, but their reactions were both funny and serious. It would be disheartening to know that despite a lot of sexual education in churches, the internet and in social gatherings, some Nigerians still struggle to achieve this height of sexual stimulation and excitement. The research report had discovered that some women fake orgasms during sex in order to increase their own arousal, especially where they were not initially in the mood for sex. The research report published in the Journal of Sexual Archives by researchers from Temple University and Kenyon College said pretending to enjoy sex could actually turn the experience into a pleasurable one.

Africa’s richest man Aliko Dangote and Lagos State Governor Babatunde Fashola are using ruthless police officers to evacuate residents of the Idasho community in order to facilitate the billionaire’s take-over of a huge parcel of land. Police officers from the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) today invaded the Idasho community to force the residents out of their land which Mr. Dangote, a billionaire businessman, wants to acquire. Eyewitnesses told SaharaReporters that the policemen arrived at about noon (Nigerian time) and arrested any residents who protested their invasion. Two eyewitnesses also reported that the officers began shooting in the air and lobbing teargas at Panseke, one of the villages in the community.  

Retired Police AIG, Hamma Misau, who is the Bauchi State delegate at the ongoing National Conference in Abuja, is dead at age 67. According to Sahara Reporters, he died yesterday night, as a result of an undisclosed illness. His cousin, Barrister Mohammed Hamma, says a Muslim funeral is currently being planned, and will take place shortly in Bauchi State. Misau gained notoriety on social media, when a photo of him sleeping at the conference went viral three days ago. Our condolences go out to his family.

An Argentine woman has died after allegedly injecting Vaseline into her breasts, as a means of performing a breast augmentation procedure on herself. Sonia Perez Llanzon, 39, suffered pulmonary embolism (a blood clot in her lungs), and died some weeks after she reportedly injected herself with petroleum jelly.   Llanzon visited a Santa Rosa hospital after she had started to experience difficulty breathing. According to the doctors, she initially tried to deny the fact that she injected herself with Vaseline. However, upon further interrogation, she later admitted what she had done.   Julio Pla Cardenas, who is Chief of Surgery at Lucio Molas Hospital, where she was treated, remarked that in the history of his medical career, he has never encountered a case like Llanzon’s.   The human body has antibodies to remove bacteria and viruses, but it hasn’t got any mechanisms against this type of product,” he said. So I just watched the part 2 of Jim Iyke's reality show, Jim Iyke Unscripted, where the actor proposed to his actress girlfriend Nadia Buari. The proposal actually happened in Barcelona, Spain in Nov. 2013. He proposed. She cried. She said yes. He put the ring on her finger. They hugged. Jim said 'I love you' seven times.
