The former Minister of Power, Prof. Barth Nnaji has been fingered of having again masterminded the alleged murder of 5 persons (3 octogenarians and 2 little children) who were allegedly buried inside their apartments by earth rolling machines, which demolished dozens of buildings at Onuogba Nike in Enugu East Local Government Area of Enugu State on Monday. Shocking of the ugly news was that not fewer than 3o both married and unmarried female were allegedly raped by some of the policemen and hoodlums that accompanied the team that demolished the remaining buildings of the innocent people of Nkomoro Onougba Nike last Monday.

Fuji star, Abass Akande aka Obesere has written a script centred around the rape scandal he was recently involved in and is presently shopping for actors who will interpret the role effectively. Confirming this, his publicist Deola Adeoti said; “The movie is targeted at unraveling the mystery behind the rape scandal. A whole lot of things have been said about him in the past few weeks, but I think this movie will tell the world the plain truth. Apart from his own experience, Obesere is aware of some men who had been blackmailed with this same scandal and he felt that it was high time he exposed some of these women of evil.”

Pastor Chris Okotie of Household of God International Ministries posted this an article on his official Facebook page on the tragic stampede at the Nigeria Immigration Service recruitment. Read; The big news this week was the inauguration of the National Conference, but the deaths of more than 16 young applicants who died in Abuja and other venues, during the Nigerian Immigration Service, NIS recruitment exercise, overshadowed it. This tragedy mirrors the desperate situation of Nigeria. One only hopes that this unfortunate loss of lives, coupled with the incessant Boko Haram killings and other youth-based violence, would serve as a wake-up call to the summiteers, that this country needs a new governance paradigm. If the conference cannot produce that, then the over N7 billion invested in it would amount to another colossal waste of our scarce national resources.

Eight pregnant young girls were rescued yesterday by the Ogun State police command from a baby factory located at 9 Sebanjo Crescent, off Fabolude Busstop, Akute area of Ifo LGA of Ogun State. Speaking on the incident, the State Police Commissioner, Ikemifuna Okoye, said police intervention was made possible by a tip off. The operator of the baby factory is 26 year old Angela Chigoeze who says she operates a herbal clinic...and sells the babies for N300,000 The police say investigation is still ongoing as there are other accomplices in the business.
