The Senate president this afternoon met with the management of the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation & Fiscal Commission RMAFC, to clarify issues bothering on the alleged N8.64 billion wardrobe allowance the newly inaugurated Assembly members are entitled to. At the meeting, the Chairman of RMAFC, Engr. Last week Brittni Mealy had to battle a groupie on Instagram who rubbed her affair with Future in Brittni's face, and after another girl shared a pic of herself in Future's hotel room, Brittni threw in the towel and lashed out on Instagram in a post with pictures of girls in Future's hotel room wearing his hat. According to the Kano-based OAP who shared the story, this incident happened in Kano today. A girl who came to Freedom FM Kano as a guest in Keke Napep, jokingly said she'll give a car and a house to any man who marries her.   Men took her seriously because not long after she said this, they trooped to the radio station, saying they want to marry her. The men even wrote down their name so she can interview them on first come first serve basis. The police had to be called in to disperse the men after they refused to leave. Lol. Can you imagine this?

Early Sunday morning, massive flood in Tbilisi ,Georgia, destroyed homes and cut electricity and power supply to residents. The flood also destroyed a local zoo, killing some animals and freeing others. One of the animals freed was a tiger and it has been killed by police after it killed a man. The man, 43 year old Otar Tsukhishvili, was mauled to death when he entered a warehouse where the tiger was hiding after escaping from the zoo. The man was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries and his throat slit. Doctors were unable to save him.That's the tiger above. A hyena is said to still be on the loose, causing serious panic amongst residents in Tbilisi.

Every quarter you go, you hear people mumbling about the ministerial list like as if once the list is out, our problems as a nation will be solved. I ask, are these mumblings because we are truly eager to see the new government kick into action and begin to address our numerous problems or because guys are arranging their hookups and connections. I am of the opinion that who makes the list or not is not as important as what they plan to bring to the table because that's what will guarantee the change we are all looking for. I trust the president has a mind of his own, at least events seem to bring that home so no fears of impositions. It is time to wait patiently as the president kick starts his agenda. Be rest assured that if your father or someone you know makes the list, it might not be a good time to rejoice and draw out those lists of miserable yet money gulp

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has assured the people of the state that he will reintroduce boarding schools with up to date facilities to improve the standard of education in the state. The governor spoke at the Government Girls Secondary School, Rumuokuta in Obio / Akpor Local Government Area on Wednesday after he paid an unscheduled visit to the school. He regretted the dilapidated state of facilities in most schools in the state, saying that his administration will select pilot schools across the state for upgrade as model schools. Governor Wike particularly decried the condition of the Government Girls Secondary School ,Rumuokuta where all the laboratories and other facilities were allowed to rot by the immediate past administration.  He directed the immediate construction of a fence around the school and the demolition of illegal structures within the property of the school. 

Looks like Islamic militants keep looking for new more savage ways to kill people perceived as their enemies. The militants yesterday released a horrific video showing the execution of a 'spy'. They tied the man to a wooden cross, hacked off his hand and foot and let him bleed to death. The video then shows the prisoner - dressed in orange jumpsuit - hanging lifelessly in the middle of the desert. At the end of the video, an ISIS member said they killed the man because he was working as a spy for Iragi military.

A Nigerian named Enekwenchi Sampson Someadina from Enugu state was allegedly shot dead by police yesterday night around 10:32pm at One Taman shopping complex in Damasara, Malaysia. According to his friend who reached out to LIB, Sampson had gone to the shopping complex and while leaving the mall discovered that immigration were raiding foreigners in  a nearby street. Because he didn't have a valid visa, Sampson decided to take another route but encountered police there. He was stopped by police who asked him for his passport. While explaining to them that his passport was in school, they allegedly began molesting him. As he tried to flee from them, he was shot dead by the police. His body was taken to Kuala lumpur general hospital at Jalan Pahang. His friends want Nigerians to know what happened and are asking for justice.

In his statement which he posted on twitter, Melaye called on APC leaders to 'take a stand on the bogus NASS allowance'.
