The Federal High Court today ordered the State Security Service (SSS) to apologise to Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, and to pay him N2 million in damages for unlawfully detaining him last November during the Anambra gubernatorial election. The court also pronounced that neither the SSS nor the Attorney-General of the Federation, who was joined in the suit, had any legal authority to restrict El-Rufai’sright of movement as enshrined in Section 34 of the constitution, a ruling that has massive implications for future elections in the country. The events took place on 15 and 16 November 2013, when SSS officials detained and harassed the former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory at the Finotel, Awka. Outraged at that treatment, El-Rufai sought legal redress, with the SSS and the Attorney-General of the Federation listed as respondents in the suit. Barely a week after a building belonging to Christ Chosen Church of God collapsed in Edo state killing three people, another church building has collapsed in the state. A building belonging to Liberty Power Bible Church a.k.a Power Palace at  Asoro Slope, off Ekenwan Road in Benin city, Edo state, collapsed yesterday  September 28th.   According to reports, the incident happened shortly after members of the church left the building after the close of service. No life was lost. Former Catholic Archbishop of Lagos, Cardinal Anthony Olubunmi Okogie, has again advised President Goodluck Jonathan to forget about a second term in office because he does not deserve it. The spokesman of Emmanuel TV, the media outfit of the Synagogue Church of all Nations, Ken Emeakayi, revealed on Channels TV's Sunrise Daily programme today September 29th that a young man had attempted to commit suicide during service yesterday Sunday September 28th. Speaking on the the misrepresentation of the church building collapse tragedy, Emeakayi said the man suddenly tried to jump down from the gallery of the church which would have immediately killed him upon landing. Asked why he'd tried to jump, the young man supposedly said he wanted to show that he believed prophet T.B Joshua. The young girl who was abandoned by  Boko Haram insurgents and found in  Adamawa state  has been transferred to  Abuja , ThisDay reports. Susan Ishaya , believed to be one of the missing  Chibok  girls, was found in the  Mubi  area of the state and discovered to be 4 months pregnant. Her relocation was reportedly confirmed by the Chairman of the Chibok community in Abuja,  Mr. Tsambido Hosea Abana. He also added that the girl was in the custody of the  Defence Intelligence Agency  (DIA). He said:  “I don't have details for now. All I know is that she is in Abuja now; she is in the custody of the DIA.
