The Nigerian military has rescued 20 more women and children from Sambisa foest. According to a statement by the defence headquarters, the women and children were rescued during its ongoing offensive in the forest yesterday May 22nd. Scores of terrorist were also killed during the operation. The statement signed by Defence spokesperson, Gen Chris Olukolade reads in part;  "Despite continuous encounter with large number of land mines, which still litter the Sambisa Forest, troops have forged ahead with the ongoing offensive operations as scores of the terrorists died in the assault on their bases on Friday. A total of 20 women and children were rescued at the end of the Friday operation.   They have all been airlifted out of the forest. The wounded soldiers have also been moved out for necessary treatment. According to him, his wife never goes out without him having the last word on her dressing. He says he's his wife's last mirror.   "She has not let go. NDLEA operatives who stormed the Lekki home of Prince Buruji Kashamu, will wait till Monday, to determine if they'd extradite him to the US or not. Latest report say the senator-elect from Ogun state was able to delay his arrest because the NDLEA operatives did not have a warrant for his arrest, so they have kept him under house arrest till Monday to enable seek a court order to effect the arrest. Kashamu’s lawyers have said they will go to court to challenge the move, according to Buruji’s media aide, Austin Oniyokor. Oniyokor in a statement said invading his home is a confirmation of the alleged plot to illegally abduct him in spite of the pending suit against this illegal extradition. A Maryland mother was found early yesterday Friday May 22nd pushing her dead 3-year-old boy on a park swing, according to US police. Officers responded to a call around 7 a.m. to check on a woman who witnesses said had been pushing a child for hours on a swing at Wills Memorial Park in La Plata, Washington, D.C., said Charles County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Diane Richardson. One witness told deputies she found it strange that the woman had been pushing the child for an unusually long period of time, possibly since the day before, Richardson said. When the officers arrived they found the 24-year-old woman still pushing the child in the swing, and they realized immediately that the boy was dead, Richardson said.  The child had no signs of obvious trauma, she said, and had been dead for at least several hours.
