SaharaReporters has learned that copies of the much-anticipated and politically controversial autobiography by former President Olusegun Obasanjo have sold out a mere three days after their release on Tuesday. “Baba [President Obasanjo] sold all the copies that were brought in,” an associate of Mr. Obasanjo’s told SaharaReporters. The three-volume book brims with sharp criticism of President Goodluck Jonathan, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, the late President Umaru Yar’Adua, and former Governors Bola Tinubu, Bukola Saraki and James Ibori. Hours before the book was scheduled to be launched last Tuesday, Buruji Kashamu, an associate of Mr. Jonathan, obtained an order from a High Court judge barring the book’s publication. But Mr. Obasanjo proceeded with the launch of the book, stating that the book was already published before the judge gave his order and that the order did not prohibit him from launching the book. In his scathing new autobiography,  My Watch , former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo made a series of critical assertions against current President Goodluck Jonathan Due to the nature of the content, an ally of President Jonathan attempted to use a court order to block the publication of the book. President Jonathan also personally contacted the former president to appeal that the book not be published until next year, after the 2015 presidential election. Kwame Ajamu was just 17 when he was convicted of murder in the killing of a Cleveland money-order salesman. On Tuesday, Ajamu, now 57 and out on parole since 2003, wept after a judge cleared all charges against him. “I’m so happy today that this battle had come to an end,” Ajamu said, according to Reuters. Cuyahoga County Judge Pamela Barker stepped down from her bench to give Ajamu a hug, the Associated Press reported. The case against Ajamu, formerly known as Ronnie Bridgeman, began to fall apart after a key witness recanted his testimony decades after the conviction. In 1975, two people had attacked Harold Franks with acid, and one of the people shot him. A third person drove a getaway car. What a mess! Justice F. O. Ohwo of Delta State High Court, Warri, Delta State, on Wednesday, December 10, 2014, convicted and sentenced Pastor Glory Okeoghene Abrefera and Reverend Vincent Okpogu to seven (7) years imprisonment each for stealing depositors' funds amounting to N32million ( Thirty-Two Million Naira). The two clergymen were nabbed after deceiving unsuspecting members of the public into investing in Mustard Seed Micro Investment Limited, a wonder bank, and defrauded them of their hard-earned money. While delivering judgment today, Justice Ohwo convicted the accused persons on all of the nine count charges preferred against them by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC. They were sentenced to seven years imprisonment on each count. The sentence is to run concurrently. According to the judge, the convicts will serve the seven-year term at Okere Prisons in Warri, Delta State, after completing the ten years sentence they are
