Boxer Manny Pacquiao and his fight promoters have been hit with a class action lawsuit by people who claim he screwed fans, Pay-per-view buyers and gamblers out of serious money by not disclosing his shoulder injury before the Mayweather fight, TMZ reports.  TMZ Sports  has obtained the lawsuit filed in federal court in Nevada ... in which Stephane Vanel and Kami Rahbaran are suing on behalf of a class that feel cheated.  In the suit,  Vanel and Rahbaran claim they are fighting "on behalf of all persons who purchased tickets; purchased the pay-per-view event; or who wagered money on the event." The plaintiffs are suing Pacquiao, Bob Arum, Top Rank Boxing and others for consumer fraud -- and they're demanding at least $5million in damages. 

Ekiti state Governor Ayo Fayose says he has evidence to prove that the chairman of PDP, Adamu Muazu sold their party to the opposition, APC before the elections. In a statement he released through his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka today May 5th, Fayose said he wondered why President Jonathan will lose Bauchi state to the APC when the party chairman Adamu Muazu, FCT Mininster and the state Governor Isa Yuguda are from that state. A 15 year old girl who is among the over 700 girls and women that have been freed by Nigerian troops from Sambisa Forest in recent times, has reunited with her family in one of the IDPs. According to her brother, the girl was kidnapped 6 months ago and they had thought she was dead. Over the weekend and on Monday, about 7,000 illegal immigrants were rescued from overcrowded boats crossing the Mediterranean into Italy. One of the migrants was a pregnant Nigerian woman. The woman went into labour while being rescued from a boat and gave birth to a baby girl. The baby has been named Francesca Marina as a tribute to the Italian Navy (Marina Militare).  Crew from the Italian navy ship Bettica found the Nigerian woman in labour on a boat – one of 34 vessels intercepted over the weekend. Yesterday, the Las Vegas police department released a statement saying a man accused Chris Brown of assaulting him during a pick-up basketball game inside his hotel suite. The man claimed he was playing basketball at the Palms Casino Resort when a verbal altercation led to a physical fight between himself, Chris Brown and another person. Chris has released a statement saying its not true "Chris is currently in Las Vegas as he is performing at Drais on May 5 and receiving a Key to the Strip that day as well." "He has a suite at the hotel that has a basketball court and invited friends to come play. An unruly individual showed up uninvited and was removed from the premises. Chris was not in an altercation with this person." the statement read. He has a basketball court in his suite! Choi! The investigation is ongoing.

Old Anambra state Governor, Jim Nwobodo and his wife visited president-elect Muhammadu Buhari recently. Nwobodo was the fourth civilian governor who was sentenced to jail for fraud under the Buhari military regime.

An Ejigbo Magistrate court has ordered the arrest of a 38-year-old woman, Mrs Mary Joan Adeiekwe for biting off the ear of her employee, Nkemakolam Chinwendu (above) at her hotel in Lagos. According to  PM News , the victim Nkemakolam, a graduate of Business Administration from the Lagos State Polythecnic LASPOTECH was recruited as a manager in Mrs Adeiekwe's hotel located at 38 Olusesi Street in Ikotun, Lagos some months back and was placed on a salary of N25,000. She worked in the establishment for some months without pay and was fired unexpectedly by her boss. She was however given a specific date to come for her salary arrears. Nkemakolam said when she went to see her former boss for her salary, she got angry and engaged her in a fight and in the process bit off her ear. She was taken to the Igando General Hospital with the piece of ear that fell off but before they reached the hospital the piece of ear was already dead and doctors said it could not be

Embattled National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Adamu Mu'azu, says those rooting for his removal are enemies of President Goodluck Jonathan, and are thereby rubbishing the legacy of the outgoing president. Governor Sullivan Chime of Enugu State in eastern Nigeria has described the threat of impeachment against him by the state assembly as futile. Reacting to the threats while briefing journalists in Enugu on Tuesday, Chime said the assembly had not followed constitutional procedures. The governor said that the constitution required two-thirds of the members to do so but that they did not meet the number. According to him, the state had 24 members in the assembly and only 14 members, including the speaker, met to commence the impeachment proceedings. He said the speaker should get at least 16 members of the house to investigate the allegations against him. “As I am talking to you now, nobody has served me with any notice of any impeachment,” he said. The Federal government has downgraded and declared Asaba Airport in Delta state unsafe for travelers. In a statement released by the Federal Ministry of Aviation today May 5th, the Aviation ministry stated that the airport facility was downgraded and declared unsafe due to the failure of the Delta State government to fix key infrastructure such as undulating runways as well as provision of perimeter fence at the airport as directed by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority.  “The Federal Government has downgraded the Asaba Airport over the failure of the Delta State government to put in place measures that would guarantee the safety and security of passengers using the airport.” the statement in part reads
