Image
APC has described as silly the calls by PDP for President Buhari to return the economic to the way it was before he assumed office in 2015 and then resign. APC reacted via a statement signed by its National Secretary, Mai Mala Buni. Read below... The attention of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is drawn to the latest ridiculous demand by a faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) that the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari return the country to the the voodoo economics and reckless fiscal policies the country was subjected to during the immediate-past PDP administration. Also, PDP’s silly call for the resignation of President Muhammadu Buhari is not worth the ink it is written with. Hence the APC will not dissipate energy responding. The PDP faction by its demand to return the country to the years where looting of the public treasury was the order of the day, has taken its orchestrated plot to deflect attention from the economic mess it left behin

Speaking through the Arch-Bishop of Sokoto Dioceses, Mathew Kukah at a dinner organised on the occasion of the Catholic Bishop Conference of Nigeria (CBCN) 2016 by Ondo State Governor, Olusegun Mimiko, at the International Event Centre, Akure on Tuesday September 13th, the clergymen said Jonathan was no longer president of the country and no amount of insults heaped on him will make things change. According to them, the reason why the new government was elected was to come in and provide solutions to move the nation forward rather than the point fingers at the ills of the past governments. “If the previous government did badly that is why we voted a new government. We didn’t vote a government to complain about wednesday. If we wanted wednesday, the new government w

WHY DID YOU VOTE FOR BUHARI??? BY Ugo Chikezie

Image
It is often said that where purpose is not clearly defined, abuse becomes inevitable. We are a country of over 180 million people and over 15 million people thumb-printed on the ballot papers across the country in favour of Buahri on the 28th of March, 2015 for different purposes. Whether Buhari has met all our expectations is dependent on our purposes for casting our votes for him. * Personally, I voted for him to fight corruption and reset the country, he is doing just that. He still has a long way to go, but atleast he has started it and am supporting him. In Nigeria, corruption is like cancer that has ravaged the entire moral fabrics upon which our country was built, it is obvious that if we don't kill corruption, corruption will eat up our country and kill her completely. * Millions of people in the northern part of the country voted for him to fight against insurgency, because they have lost loved ones, businesses and properties worth trillions of Naira duri
