The Federal Capital Teritory Controller of Prisons, Daniel Odahro, on Monday confirmed that there was a “minor riot” by inmates of the Kuje Prison. “There was a minor riot at the Kuje Prison, but the situation has been brought under control,” Mr. Odahro told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Abuja. He explained that a ‘’disagreement’’ ensued at about 10.30 a.m., on Monday, when some inmates resisted the routine search in their cells. Mr. Odahro said the situation was subsequently brought under control by security operatives on duty and that no inmate escaped from the facility. Human rights lawyer, Femi Falana, has criticised the decision by the Nigerian military to declare three persons ‘wanted’ in connection with the war against Boko Haram insurgency. Hoodlums today killed the Commander of Civilian Joint Task Force (JTF) in charge of Kakuri community, Kaduna South Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Buhari Ahmadu Tanko. The Lagos State Government is set take custody of a five-year-old girl who was battered and abused by her father. 46 year old Sukurat Idowu, a resident of Ikotun was arrested after he burnt his child's face and private part with hot iron because she allegedly fell inside a gutter. Lagos State Police spokesperson, Dolapo Badmos, who confirm the new development said the state government had already indicated interest to take over the abused child, who is currently receiving treatment at one of the state hospitals.  "The Lagos State government through its domestic and sexual response team through ministry of youth and social development has shown interest in taking over the child."

The man identified as Mr. Sikiru Olanrewaju who is a clearing agent could not survive after the marathon s*x. Mr. Fuji whose  real name is Harry Fujiwara  was a WWE wrestler and later became a manager to stars like, George "The Animal" Steele and Yokozuna. A gang of kidnappers in Aba, Abia State had their plans foiled when a truck driver reportedly blocked their escape route as they tried to escape with their kidnap victim, Mrs. Merit Ikechukwu, at Uratta area in Abia state.  Mrs. Ikechukwu was reportedly on her way to work when a gang of kidnappers blocked her Toyota Highlander jeep near Stella Marris road, Catholic Church, Umueze road, Aba and kidnapped her. A bomb exploded outside the Brussels Institute of Criminology this morning after two men rammed their car at the building, then they forced their way into the building, scaled a ladder and threw a bomb into the building around 3am this morning. Thankfully, the building was empty at the time of the attack, so there were no casualties, but the bomb caused significant damage to the building... Fire crew managed to put out the fire. A former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Chief Olu Falae, has submitted to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission an email correspondence between him and a former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party’s Board of Trustees, Chief Tony Anenih. Falae tendered the email as an evidence in the probe linking him to N100m election funds It was learnt that Anenih, in the email, mentioned that he was acting on the instruction of former President Goodluck Jonathan.
