Star actress Mercy Johnson Okojie is expecting her second child with husband, Prince Okojie. The mother of one (pictured above on the set of a movie on April 4th) is said to be almost four months gone. Mercy welcomed her first child, Purity, on December 30th 2012. Big congrats to Mercy & her husband.

One of the most iconic wrestlers of all time, James Brian Hellwig , popularly known as The Ultimate Warrior, has died at the age of 54, days after being inducted into  the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Hall of Fame. According to TMZ, Warrior collapsed yesterday evening April 8th while walking to his car with his wife in Arizona outside of their hotel. He was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. When he was added to the Hall of Fame on April 5th, Ultimate Warrior said "One day everyone must breath his last. And at that time, all that would matter would be what you had done while you were breathing. That's what keeps your legacy living..."  He is survived by his wife and two daughters. May his soul rest in peace...amen.

OK, I don't know what's going on but Nigerian soft porn actress and producer, Afrocandy, is online asking people for money to send her daughter to school. Afrocandy, real name Judith Okpara Mazagwu shared a link on her Facebook page yesterday asking for donations, claiming she needs the money to pay the school fees of one of her daughters who just got admission into the university. According to Afrocandy, her porn movie, Destructive Instinct, which she released early this year, was not financially rewarding as her distributors in Nigeria made away with money made. The Senate today Wednesday April 9th passed the 2014 budget totalling N4.695tr, an amount which is N52.2bn higher than the N4.642trl which was submitted by President Goodluck Jonathan to the National Assembly on December 19, 2013, through the Co-ordinating Minister of the Economy and Minister of Finance, Mrs. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala. Highlights of the 2014 budget as approved by the senate are, Statutory Transfers (N408,687,801,891), Debts Service (N712,000,000,000), Recurrent Expenditure (N2,454,887,566,702), Capital Expenditure (N1,119,614,631,407) while the Aggregate Expenditure is N4,695,190,000,000. Earlier today, there was tension in the house of APC. It started with Buhari fuming and hitting hard on Bola Tinubu over talks that APC governors lead by Lagos state Gov Babatunde Fashola were shopping for a neutral presidential candidate outside Buhari and new APC comer Atiku Abubakar. Buhari was said to have reminded Tinubu in clear terms, that the major foundation for APC was his presidential bid and not for some new boys to come and hijack the machinery and dictate to them.

A sex-crazed Angelina Jolie lookalike has been handed a suspended jail sentence after a taxi driver claimed she had tried to kill him when he refused to perform a sex act on her for a third time. Nicolae Stan, 35, told police Luminita Perijoc, 31, had already forced him at knifepoint to have intercourse and perform oral sex during the incident in 2012. He claims he met Perijoc while he was hired to deliver some bags of shopping to her apartment in the city of Tulcea, in eastern Romania, and when he turned up at the door she had asked for his phone number so that she could engage his services again.  He said several hours later she called and asked him to pick up some bottles of wine and come back to her apartment to deliver them. When he turned up at the door, she had grabbed him and dragged him inside and demanded sex.

Police in Phuket, Thailand have arrested a Nigerian seller of crack, after a sting operation. The operation involved a series of small drug busts that concluded with the arrest of the Nigerian, identified as Ibenuba Henry Onyinyechukwu. “Last night, we were informed that Somkid ‘Waew’ Kwanngern, 30, was in possession of cocaine so we went to her apartment behind Patong Municipality Fire Department,” said Lt Col Sutthichai Thianpho of the Patong Police. “She arrived at the apartment at about 7pm. We asked to search her and found 1.2 grams of cocaine,” said Col Suttichai. Ms Waew told police that she had bought the cocaine from a foreign male through one of her friends and led the police to her friend, named in the arrest report as British national Curtis Martin Taylor, 32, at his apartment on 50 Pi Road.

A woman, who identified herself as Mrs. Feyi Akere, has shown up to say 35-year-old Isaac Akere, one of the victims of the Ikorodu boat mishap, was her husband. Isaac, who was the last of the nine victims to be recovered from the Majidun River, was said to be planning his wedding with his fiancée, Foluke, this week Saturday. Tragedy struck last Wednesday when both Isaac and Foluke took a commercial boat belonging to Bell Marine Services along with 19 others from the Ebute Ero, Lagos Island en route Majidun, Ikorodu. PUNCH Metro   had reported that the boat capsized midway into the journey due to overloading and speeding, killing the intending couple, two pregnant women, a 13-year-old girl, and four others. Twelve of the victims reportedly survived the accident.

The Lagos State Police Command has apprehended a man who specialises in buying stolen cars and selling them at his showroom in the Berger area of Lagos. PUNCH Metro learnt that the suspect, Obioma Onuoha, was arrested by men of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad for buying the vehicle of a victim of kidnapping. Our correspondent learnt that Onuoha was arrested after the alleged kidnappers, Ugochukwu Ezeoma, Samuel Oha, Bernard Okoro and Hebeeb Garba exposed him. The kidnappers were said to have kidnapped a businessman in the Agbara area of Ogun State and sold his Hyundai Sports Utility Vehicle to Onuoha. In his defence, Onuoha, who claimed to be 37 years, said he thought the vehicle was that of a robbery victim and not kidnapping.
