William Pooley, the 29 year old British nurse who recently got treated of the Ebola virus which he contracted while working as a voluntaeer nurse in Sierra Leone, says he plans to go back to the country to continue working there and help other victims. Speaking with UK Guardian, Pooley said; "While I'm happy to be recovered and alive, there's a lot of stuff on my mind with what's going on back there. It would be relatively safe for me to go back and work there, and it's really the least I could do having received all this amazing care and have people look after me and potentially save my life. A Mexican family has been jailed for gouging out the eyes of their five-year-old relative with a spoon during a satanic ritual to bring about the end of the world. Fernando Caleb Alvarado Rios was ordered to close his eyes out of respect with his mother, grandparents, aunt and uncles as they danced in a circle and called on Satan to reveal himself. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has announced it will be donating $50million (N8billion) to support the efforts of Nigeria and other West African countries hit by the Ebola Virus outbreak in containing the spread of the deadly virus. Announcing this in a statement issued today September 10th, the foundation said the money will be immediately released to the United Nations agencies and international organizations that are involved in the Ebola fight to enable them and national governments purchase needed supplies and scale up emergency operations.  Th foundation also announced the immediate release of an additional $2million to the various Centres for Disease Control and Prevention to support incident management, treatment, and health care system strengthening during this epidemic. The foundation also pledged to work with private and public organizations to facilitate the speedy development of therapies, vaccines, and diagnostics that could be effective in treating patient

A baby boy born with eight limbs is said to be recovering well after doctors removed his 'parasitic twin'.  Three-month old baby Paul Mukisa was born with four legs and four arms in Nabigingo, a small village in eastern Uganda. Parents Margaret Awino and Boniface Okongo rushed the child to a nearby district hospital but were told there was nothing medics could do.  They were then referred to Mulago Hospital in the Ugandan capital of Kampala, where a team of surgeons led by Dr John Sekabira, a consultant Paediatric surgeon, assessed the little boy and discovered that not only did he have four extra limbs and what appeared to be an extra chest, but  that his heart and the liver were on the wrong sides. Doctors also discovered that the parasitic twin shared part of the boy's pelvic bone.   Surgeons then discharged the baby for three months, allowing him to grow large enough for them to safely operate on him.  On August 18, three surgeons performed on Pail at

A 32 year old father of five, Timothy Ray Jones (pictured left) has admitted to killing all five of his children and dumping their bodies in rubbish bags at the side of a road. He led police to the scene (pictured right) where they found bodies of all five of the children stuffed into bin bags near a logging road, 50 miles away in Alabama, Reuters reports. The children, aged between 8 and 2 were reported missing from their home in South Carolina on September 3rd by their mother.  Their bodies were found today.
