The Nigerian military have faulted the claims of Amnesty International that they got a 4-hour advanced warning of the school girls’ raid which took place last month in Chibok. The Director of Defence Information, Chris Olukolade said AI’s allegation is very “unfortunate and untrue”. There were indications yesterday that the 230 female students abducted by Boko Haram terrorists from the Government Girls’ Secondary School, GGSS, Chibok, Borno State, have been sited at the Sambisa Forest in Borno State, by the Special Forces of the United States Marines. A troubled pastor, who is said to have attempted suicide twice, finally succeeded in ending his own life after a 3rd attempt. Pastor Gabriel Oyebode, who is the resident pastor of a popular pentecostal church in the Ikorodu area of Lagos, reportedly hung himself in a wooded area in the town. The Pastor is said to have previously attempted to kill himself first in January 2013 and then more recently by trying to jump into a canal in the hopes of drowning. A neigbour, who spoke in confidence, said: “But for his vigilant wife, who reported him to his family members, he would have killed himself last January. His second attempt also failed because those who saw him when he went to a nearby canal frustrated his attempt to drown in the canal.” A friend of the pastor’s family described his action as sad. TMZ just reported this breaking news...Chris Brown was a few hours ago sentenced one year in jail for violating his probation in the Rihanna case during an appearance in court today. But thankfully he will only spend 131 days or less in jail for time already spent in jail. TMZ reports  Chris Brown was in court Friday afternoon, where he admitted he violated his probation by getting into a fight with a dude in Washington D.C. That's all the judge needed to hear. He sentenced Chris to 1 year in jail. However, Chris got credit for 116 days he spent in rehab, and another 59 days behind bars. That leaves 131 days in the pokey. But we're told the L.A. County Sheriff's Dept has been releasing inmates sentenced to 1 year after 240 days.  And here's the thing. Chris gets credit for 2 days for every 1 he served behind bars, so when you add it up, he has credit for 234 days -- 6 days shy.  So he could be released in days. Continue ..
