Nigeria’s newly-appointed Inspector General of Police, Solomo​n​ Arase, has pledged to hold senior ​police ​ officers responsible for any breakdown of law and order during rescheduled elections in Taraba, Imo and Abia States on Saturday. Governorship elections will hold in specific areas of the three states after the Independent National Electoral Commission declared the April 11 elections inconclusive. Mr. Arase, who was appointed on Wednesday to replace Suleiman Abba, said the police were doing everything possible to create an enabling environment for the repeat elections. He said the force would not allow anybody to cause a breakdown of law and order in any of the states. A new report claims Bruce Jenner was already transitioning into a woman in the 80's but halted when he met and fell inlove with Kris Jenner..A source with direct knowledge told Entertainment Tonight that Jenner talked about transitioning 30 years ago, and that by the mid-1980s Jenner had started hormone therapy, electrolysis and had plastic surgery to make his features look more feminine. Jenner found his own facial hair to be repulsive. The source told ET that Jenner began exploring the option of reassignment surgery with doctors in Denmark -- but that he backed off shortly after he started seeing Kris Kardashian Jenner. Graphic images have emerged of a badly beaten transgender prisoner battered,forced her to strip and shaved by the police..  25 year old Veronica Bolina is pictured lying partially naked on the ground in front of a group of officers and other prisoners in Sao Paulo, Brazil.The 25-year-old had previously been arrested over an alleged attack on her 73-year-old neighbour.  Pictures appearing to show her ordeal were leaked online and have sparked outrage across Brazil. An official police statement claimed Bolina was attacked by prisoners when she was seen performing a sex act on herself in her cell and that officers were forced to intervene. Suleiman Hashimu, the man who trekked from Lagos to Abuja in honor of Buhari's victory at the presidential election met with Gen Buhari in Abuja today April 24th.
