A 24-year-old female youth  Corper , Ijeoma Susan Azubuike (pictured above) has been declared  missing by her family. She was last seen on Sunday May 31st in Owo, Ondo State where armed robbers attacked a GUO Transport bus conveying her and several other passengers to Lagos. Ijeoma, a graduate of the University of Ado-Ekiti, left Jigawa for Lagos State on saturday 30th of May after completing her 3 weeks orientation exercise but stopped over in Abuja to continue her journey  on Sunday  being a long trip. The family said they got a call on Sunday, May 31st, around  3:30pm  from someone in Owo, Ondo state asking to speak to the of father Ijeoma. He then proceeded to explain that the GUO bus which was bringing them to Lagos from Abuja was attacked by armed robbers in Owo and they all had to run for safety, after the robbers had left, they all went back to the bus to continue their journey and it was then they discovered that Ijeoma was  missing . Two people (a boy and a girl) apparently ANSU students were found lifeless in their room in Diamond Lodge (Back of Gift lodge, opposite Chidinma Lodge Igbariam campus). As at the time of report The guy is still breathing but appears lifeless and has been rushed to the hospital with an ambulance with the company of the Nigerian Police…while the girl on the other hand has been pronounced dead. President Buhari met with Service Chiefs at the Defence House Abuja earlier today. At the end of the meeting, Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Usman Jubrin, spoke to state house correspondents. He said their meeting was to brief President Buhari about the current security situation in Nigeria. “Since he was inaugurated as the President and Commander in Chief, this is the first time that we are formally meeting him to give a general security briefing of the country and that went very well. i think we have been able to provide insight into the security situation of Nigeria" he said On the presidential directive to move the military command to Borno state, Vice Admiral Jubrin said the military chiefs will go back and work on the directive and then get back to President Buhari.

Kim reacted so angrily on Twitter this evening that Twitter contacted her to be sure she hadn't been hacked because the things she wrote were so unlike her. The pregnant reality star got really angry after Wendy Williams said on her show that Kim will use a surrogate for her second baby but will try to deceive the public with a prosthetic belly. Wendy told her audience; "They're saying that they could possibly be using a surrogate from Thailand who's allegedly living in Kanye's Manhattan Beach home, and they're also alleging that Kim will buy prosthetics to baby up for every month." A 24 year old woman identified as Marie Shade Adebayo was shot dead yesterday June 1st by a man believed to be her ex-boyfriend outside a Target store in Milestone Center, Montgomery County, Maryland. Police have arrested 27 year old Donald Wayne Bricker Jr for the murder. According to  NBC Washington , witnesses said they saw Shade and Donald involved in some sort of altercation inside a vehicle prior to the shooting. Shade then got out of the vehicle and Donald followed. Investigators say Donald fired his gun at Shade, striking her. According to police, he then walked up to her and fired again. He then took off in a white Ford Ranger. He was arrested by police an hour later. A gun was recovered at the scene of the crash, police said.

In announcing his exit, the 79-year-old Swiss has called an extraordinary Fifa congress "as soon as possible" to elect a new president. Blatter was re-elected last week, despite seven top Fifa officials being arrested two days before the vote as part of a US prosecution. But he said: "My mandate does not appear to be supported by everybody." Fifa was rocked last week by the arrests on charges of racketeering, wire fraud and money laundering as part of a US prosecution that also indicted 14 people. Boko Haram released a 10-mins video on Youtube recently. Leader of the sect, Abubakar Shekau is believed to be absent from the video. The spokesperson in the video claimed they were still in authority over Dikwa, Gamboru, Damasak and other areas which the Nigerian military claimed they had liberated in recent times. The spokesperson swore in Allah's name that they were filming from Sambisa forest. “I swear by Allah that I am talking right now from Sambisa. Here in Sambisa you can travel more than four to five hours under the black flag of Islam by car or by motorbike,” the spokesperson said The video had on it the logo “Islamic State in West Africa”, suggesting that the sect members have indeed formed a coalition with the Islamic State in Syria and Iraq. The Police in Borno said five persons died when a suicide bomber attacked an abattoir in Maiduguri on Tuesday. The Commissioner of Police in the State, Aderemi Opadokun, stated this when he spoke with journalists in Maiduguri. Mr. Opadokun said the attack occurred at about 11.30 a.m. “A suicide bomber, who was shouting “Sai Buhari”, and dancing in the abattoir, detonated Improvised Explosive Device strapped on his body when people had gathered around him. “Five people, including himself, died, while eight others sustained injuries,” he said. Mr. Opadokun added that policemen were mobilised to the scene to evacuate the corpses and the convey the injured to the hospital, adding that investigation into the blast was ongoing. (NAN)

The governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, has said he will be happy to nominate a worthy candidate for appointment in President Muhammadu Buhari’s cabinet. Fayose, in a statement on June 2, Tuesday, called on Buhari to grant him the honour of naming the minister that would come from Ekiti state, Punch reports. The governor said: “I shall be happy to nominate a worthy and competent professional, who can always oblige Your Excellency and your cabinet the benefit of a second opinion in the serious business of governance.” According to him, he had already written to the President on the matter and was awaiting his reply which he hopes would be favourable. Officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have arrested two housewives for ingesting cocaine, packing some on their underwear and also inserting them in their private parts. The two women were apprehended at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos, while attempting to board a Qatar Airways flight to China. In their statements,the women claimed that they smuggled cocaine because they were abandoned by their husbands.
