A Zimbabwean man identified as Trinity Gonongono will spend the next 30 months in jail after he was given a prison sentence for refusing to give way to President Robert Mugabe's convoy. The 33-year-old, who was driving a Toyota Lite Ace pickup was arrested by Mugabe’s guards when he failed to pull off the road for the President, who was on his way to commission the Victoria Falls International Airport last week. Appearing before Victoria Falls magistrate, Ms. Lindiwe Maphosa on Monday, she convicted Gonongono for failing to comply with a lawful instruction given by the police. He pleaded guilty to the offense and was sentenced to an effective 30 months in jail.

The photos have been making the rounds on social media for sometime now. It's just been revealed that the man in the photo is a politician in Kenya. According to reports, the man is Hon Kahindi Geoffrey Muhambi who is a Ward representative of Kilifi North Constituency. Facebook user, Calos Arap Sung who shared the photos wrote "As Kilifi county is grappling with the loss of county funds to a tune of 51 milions, Mnarani MCA, Hon Kahindi Geoffrey Muhambi was busy using the same money doing what he does best" While some people believe the photos were photo-shopped, others said the Honorable is very popular in the county for his randy behaviour.

Two persons including a suicide bomber were killed in a suicide attack that happened at Muna motor garage along Gamboru Ngala road Maiduguri, Borno state yesterday night. Confirming the attack, the state police spokesperson, Victor Isuku, said the incident happened at about 9pm. “At about 2106hrs on Wednesday November 23rd, an explosion occurred at Muna garage along Gamboru Ngala road Maiduguri. Two persons including the suicide bomber died on the spot, while a Mercedes Benz car with registration number, AX 571 ABJ which was parked by the road side was damaged by the impact of the explosion”he said
