Woman jailed for 11 years for beating 3yr old son to death & hiding his body in suitcase

Image
A judge has blasted a mother who repeatedly punched her 3-year-old son until he died in an attack that 'simply beggars belief'. Rosdeep Adekoya, 34, has been jailed for 11 years for killing her son Mikaeel Kular, who she savagely beat then left to die for two days during a family holiday in January. After discovering his lifeless body on the floor of their Edinburgh home in Ferry Gait Crescent, she wrapped it in a duvet cover, put it in the suitcase and drove to Kirkcaldy, Fife, to hide it in woodland. Adekoya reported Mikaeel missing to police after stashing his body in remote woodland, sparking a major two-day search operation involving hundreds of local people and nation-wide coverage. Now a prisoner at Cornton Vale jail near Stirling, she was initially charged with murder but last month pleaded guilty to the reduced charge of culpable homicide. She also admitted a charge of attempting to defeat the ends of justice by pretending to police her son

ALMIGHTY NAIJA SOLDIERS?: 480 Nigerian troops 'flee into Cameroon' as Boko Haram intensifies its campaign

Image
Some 480 Nigerian soldiers have fled into Cameroon following fierce fighting with Boko Haram militants, Cameroon's army has said. Army spokesman Lt Col Didier Badjek said the soldiers had been disarmed and were now being accommodated in schools. Clashes are said to be continuing in the border town of Gamboru Ngala. Boko Haram on Sunday released a video in which it said it had established an Islamic state in the towns and villages it controls in north-eastern Nigeria. The group's five-year insurgency has intensified in recent months despite the deployment of thousands of extra troops to the worst-affected areas. Last week, a group of soldiers refused to follow orders to go and fight Boko Haram, saying the militants were better equipped. Insurgents also seized one of Nigeria's two main police training academies, which is near the town of Gwoza, captured earlier this month. The Nigerian soldiers are currently in the Cameroonian town of Maroua, about 80km (50 miles)

MAIN REASON Why many PASTORS will go to HELL – Pastor Chris Oyakhilome

Image
Founder and head pastor of Believers Love World, popularly known as Christ Embassy, Chris Oyakhilome left members of his church shocked with his revelation while preaching the message on Sunday.  According to City People, while delivering the message titled ‘The lessons of Lot’, Pastor Chris explained to his members why most pastors will not make heaven.  “Many pastors will go to hell for not obeying God, some are not called by God, some just called themselves for their personal reasons, some are in the ministry to serve their senses”, he stated. The popular pastor said some churches started out of strife and that some pastors left their churches where they were to go and started another ministry because of anger, strife, misunderstanding or envy.  He said, “Sometimes, it is between a pastor’s wife and an assistant pastor’s wife; you need to learn to obey God in all, I don’t want any of you in such situation. Make up your mind to obey God in everything”.

Read this deep and controversial article about God and Ebola

Image
UK Guardian columnist Michelle Hanson wrote this  article  that has sparked quite a debate on social media about God and why He saved an American doctor and let 1,200 Africans die of the Ebola virus. The writer, who said she gave up on God many years ago, wondered how God works. Find the article below... "Lucky Dr Kent Brantly, the American doctor who has recovered from Ebola, having been given a dose of the experimental antibody serum Zmapp, whizzed home to the US, and given another dose. He is now thanking God for saving his life. Through the medical team and drugs, he admits, but ultimately, it seems, God was in charge. And he chose Brantly, not the other 1,200 mainly west African people who have died horribly, which seems a bit picky." Continue... It must be lovely for Brantly to be so sure of things. I tried, aged 10, to work out whether God was around or not, but couldn't. "What was his actual shape?" I wondered. And how could he be everywher
