When I heard about this story, I knew I had to meet the man who despite facing rising petrol & transportation prices and “tomato ebola” returned such a huge sum of money without recourse to himself. The Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), while speaking on the topic:”Limit of Executive Immunity,” at an event in Benin, Edo State, to mark the 60th birthday of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Professor Julius Ihonvebere, said there are Supreme Court decisions that said their immunity cannot be extended to certain criminal acts. He berated those who criticised the freezing of the personal account of Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose and the current prosecution of the leadership of the Senate over allegation of forgery. I’m a lion that tames leopards, Joseph Mbu boasts

Image
Assistant Inspector General of Police, Mbu Joseph Mbu has described himself as a lion, who tames every leopard that crosses his way. “It is only lion that can tame leopard. Each time the leopard remembers my face, it makes noise, but if it knows I am around, it cannot make noise. A lion is a lion,” he boasted at an event in Abuja today. Mbu, who earned national notoriety as the commissioner of police in Rivers State, by blatantly harassing and disrespecting Governor Rotimi Amaechi did not indicate whether Amaechi was the lion that he tamed while in the state. Mbu also acted as commissioner in the Nigerian capital of Abuja and also entered the black book of human rights groups, when he unilaterally banned processions organised by the movement to #bringbackourgirls. The ban exploded in his face as he was overruled by the former Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar. Despite his indiscretions and misdemeanour, he was promoted last month as Assistant In

Image
The Niger Delta Avengers have denied report in the dailies that DSS arrested some of their member, in a report published on the avenger's web site, they called the members arrested sleeper agents and dare the DSS   to allow the boys to tell the world their side of the story. Below is the statement by the Avengers.  Reports from National dailies that two suspects Mr Christian Oluba alias Sensor, and Selky Kile Torughedi arrested by DSS are alleged members of Niger Delta Avengers is laughable, the fact is they are sleeper agents of the DSS sent after the Niger Delta Avengers.   The boys has the right to demand for their money from DSS, why not pay them instead of arresting and labeling them as Niger Delta Avengers members.  If DSS are denying this, let them allow the suspects to speak to the press. We (Niger Dleta Avengers) don’t have any connection with these boys. We dare the DSS to allow the boys to tell the world their side of the story.  DSS and Nige
