Presidency reacts to report which alleges GEJ revealed location of Chibok girls

Image
Below is the State House Press Release Press release which alleges that president Jonathan has revealed location of Chibok girls is political dirty trick... A ll media organisations and persons on my mailing list should kindly disregard the press release purportedly issued by me earlier today titled:  President Jonathan reveals location of Chibok girls and exposes Boko Haram masterminds . No such press release was written or circulated by me. It is clearly the work of fraudsters who have hacked into my email account in an odious attempt to mislead the public at the expense of the credibility of the Jonathan Administration. Continue... We totally condemn this criminal resort to political dirty tricks which seeks to cynically play on national concern and emotions about the Boko Haram insurgency and fate of the abducted Chibok girls. Aspects of the fraudulent press release, such as its incoherence and invitation to click on a link,  would have alerted discerning

Nigerian Prophet T.B. Joshua of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) has asked those spreading lies about him to desist from doing so or they will be adequately rewarded. Speaking to Ynaija reporter in a telephone interview, the prophet debunked rumours making rounds that a Liberian man who came to his church for deliverance died of Ebola. In a statement released by the church, SCOAN denied having anything to do the drinking and bathing with salt water to prevent Ebola rumour which went viral last week. The statement reads in part: “Our attention has been draw to a rumour spreading in some Africa country and online that Prophet T.B Joshua of the Synagogue Church of all nation in corroboration with the ministry of health, instructed the citizens of those nations battling with Ebola virus to take their bathe with warm water and salt for protection and healing from the deadly Ebola Virus. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has declared that Nano-Silver, the drug the Ministry of Heath in Nigeria is planning to use for Ebola infected patients in the country is a pesticide. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), a chief U.S. regulatory body, has made known its worries known over the safety of nano-silver, the name given to the experimental drug Nigeria’s ministry of health announced it would be using to treat eight Ebola patients in Lagos. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has however classified nano-silver as a known anti-bacterial used to fight mold and other bacteria, hence, calling it a pesticide. According to Sahara Reporters, a spokeswoman for the  U.S. FDA,  Erica Jefferson,  claimed they could not find or verify any information on the treatment, though they did not explicitly call it by name. Although the Nigerian government claims the treatment was given by a Nigerian scientist in the diaspora, but did not give the doctor’s name,

Nigeria Medical Association Demands Unconditional Reinstatement Of Sacked 16,000 Doctors

Image
The Nigeria Medical Association (NMA) on Friday demanded immediate reversal of yesterday’s letter by the Federal Government terminating the appointment of 16,000 resident doctors in government hospitals across the country. Addressing the media in Abuja on Friday, President of NMA, Dr. Kayode Obembe said there was no way the resident doctors would accept their sack.  He urged all doctors not to pick their letters at their respective hospitals. “NMA condemns in totality the alleged presidential directive via the Federal Ministry of Health suspending Residency Training Programme in Nigeria," Obembe said. “NMA demands the immediate withdrawal of the suspension circular and unconditional reinstatement of the so-called sacked resident doctors. “Government should show commitment on her part in resolving the current impasse with the NMA rather than resorting to punitive measures that will only further aggravate the already deplorable situation." He reiterated that

SEE KCee Limpopo Drinking Garri For Breakfast

Image
Looks like not every Nigerian celebrity takes the usual bread, omelet, tea, coffee or noodles for breakfast. Popular music star  KCee  takes  garri  (dried grounded cassava + palm oil)   mixed with fried groundnut and milk for breakfast and he's so proud of it. The "Limpopo" singer took to Instagram to post an image of him rocking a blue Adiddas sportswear ready to devour his local morning meal.  He wrote: "I remember when I was in Ajegunle no garri no sugar talkless of milk or groundnuts but thank GOD for today....#beliveinyourself cos #OGADINMA and if you believe say #OGADINMA" Even though the singer never stated if he takes garri  every morning as breakfast,  Kcee seemed grateful to God for all the blessings he's received over time. At least the award winner now lives in a mansion in Lagos, rides the best cars and wears the most expensive jewelleries and finest clothes. So, we join him to say "#OGADINMA"!

Aja told the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARs), Lagos Police Command in Ikeja that he lost N1.2 million to some fraudulent travel agents in South Africa, where he lived for two years. How The Health Workers At First Consultant Hospital, Who Treated Patrick Sawyer Saved Us All

Image
A 25-year-old nurse who treated Ebola-infected Liberian-American, Patrick Sawyer died yesterday bringing to 3 the number of Nigerians who have lost their lives to the disease. Sawyer collapsed at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos and was taken to the First Consultant Hospital in Obalende where he was diagnosed of Ebola. Reports have it that despite being informed of his condition, he was determined to proceed to Calabar where he was due to attend an ECOWAS conference. However, the nurses and doctors of the First Consultant Hospital kept him behind their doors despite the fact that he urinated on them and sprayed blood on his hospital bed, essentially exposing them to infection. The hospital workers continued to treat him and they didn't turn him away like some hospitals have been doing to persons suspected of having the disease. A number of the workers at the hospital have been infected due to contact with Sawyer and 2 of them, including young nurs

'Patrick Sawyer was an evil man on a mission' Femi Fani Kayode

Image
Former minister Femi Fani Kayode took to his Facebook page today to share his thoughts on late Patrick Sawyer, the Liberian who brought the deadly Ebola virus to Nigeria. The disease has so far killed three people Sawyer came in contact with. Fani-Kayode says Sawyer was an evil man with a mission to spread the virus in Nigeria and kill as many people as possible. See what he posted below.. "I disagree with those who have described Patrick Sawyer as a madman. He was not mad at all but just evil. He was a man that was on a mission. That mission was to spread the ebola virus to Nigeria and to infect and kill as many people as possible with it. He was an evil man with an evil intention and purpose. Worst still he was not working alone. Some people, and I mean rich, powerful and well-connected people, were working with him. As a matter of fact they sent him on the mission. Continue... They cultivated him, took care of him, paid him, brainwashed him, gave him all that he wa

Robin Williams pictured just a day before he committed suicide

Robin Williams pictured just a day before he hanged himself with a belt at his home in California. He attended a reception held at an art gallery near his home in the San Francisco Bay Area. His wife was with him. She revealed yesterday that Robin had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and was in the early stages of the disease but was not ready to share the diagnosis with the rest of the world. Meanwhile I actually have a pic of the late legendary actor's corpse in the coroner's office with the belt mark on his neck. Didn't share it because it's too gruesome and probably disrespectful. So sad!

We are simply giving voice to the voiceless. Those people in isolation at the IDH cannot voice out these concerns. Let them have basic treatment. It shouldn’t be as if we just stood there and abando

A section of those in  the Enugu State governemnt are determined to see the back of the incumbent deputy governor, Mr. Sunday Onyebuchi. THE ongoing impeachment proceeding against the Enugu State Deputy Governor, Mr. Sunday Onyebuchi, took a frightening dimension on Wednesday when the embattled number two citizen of the state slumped while giving his testimony in what is now popularly tagged as Chicken Impeachment in Enugu State.
