In an exclusive interview with media personality, Azuka Ogujiuba, actress Tonto Dikeh wept as she spoke about her failed marriage to her estranged husband, Oladunni Churchill. According to Tonto, she does not regret her marriage and didn't grant the interview to discredit her ex-husband. She stated that she indeed suffered domestic violence while she was with Churchill "The domestic violence is real. How I lived to suffer it and go through it over and over again, I do not understand. Alot of people have blamed me. A lot of people have said a lot of things. I stayed back in my marriage, not because of my child, but because I loved my husband with all of my heart. A man identified as Lopes Hobjana, almost lost his manhood after a woman who lives in the same yard as him allegedly poured boiling water over him for refusing to have sex with her. The 25-year-old from Palm Ridge, Ekurhuleni said he believed God had sent an angel to protect him. He said to Daily Sun “This woman had beef with me because I refused to sleep with her. A 400 level student of the University of Ghana has allegedly committed suicide by jumping from her balcony in the early hours of Wednesday, March 8th. According to reports by local media, the deceased identified as one Jennifer Nyarko, who was believed to be suffering from hay fever, reportedly jumped from the balcony of the Akuaffo Hall annex, Room 407 after missing lectures for several days.  Her roommate claims that she was on the phone throughout the night talking to some guy until they slept. She was spotted on the floor by a passerby, who alerted students and school authority. She was rushed to the Legon Hospital, where she was confirmed dead.

Management of Heritage Bank has denied suspending one of their executive directors, Mrs Mary Akpobome who is also the wife of ace comedian, Alibaba. Sahara Reporters first carried the news saying she was sent on a compulsory suspension so she can recover loans she signed off on.  In a new Instagram post earlier today, Mary's husband, comedian Alibaba said he would react to the story after the bank takes a stand. Sharing the bank's disclaimer, Ali Baba said "Good evening, I did say I would respond to the stories making the rounds after the position of the bank is made known."  In the disclaimer, the bank stated that Mrs Mary Akpobome remains a valued Executive Director of the Bank. Actor Prince James Uche who has been battling with Diabetes, Blindness, BP and kidney disease, has died. He died this afternoon March 8th at a private medical hospital in Festac town where he had been for two years now.  He had been unconcious for the past 5 days and was on his way for dialysis in an ambulance when he died at 2:15pm. He was scheduled to travel to India this Saturday for further treatment. He was 55 years old.

At least five persons are feared dead in a communal clash involving Hausas and Yorubas in Ile-Ife, Osun state this morning. According to eye witneses, the clash started at about 9am today. An argument between a Hausa man and a Yoruba woman at a market in the Sabo area of the town, degenrated into a fight that was later hijacked by some youths in the area. The irate youths destroyed goods belonging to the Hausa traders at Lageere in retaliation to the havoc done around the Sabo market. Residents of the town have fled their homes while the police is working to restore law and order. Ile Ife at the moment. Two weeks after 33 Nigerians were deported from Italy, a second batch of Nigerians have been deported by the Italian immigration service. The 37 Nigerians who are all males, were deported for committing immigration-related offences. The loan, which involved a foreign-backed guaranty bond, was for Etisalat to finance a major network rehabilitation and expansion of its operational base in Nigeria. Police in the small town of Herne, Germany have launched a manhunt to locate a 19yr old martial arts enthusiast and murder suspect named Marcel H who stabbed his 9yr old victim and shared the video on Facebook. The body of the child was discovered by police in the cellar of a family home in the town shortly after dusk on Monday. As the boy was stabbed multiple times Marcel H. filmed his demise and posted the video on the so-called 'Darknet' - the lurid, unpatrolled side of cyberspace specialising in pornography, paedophilia, drugs and 'snuff' movies. It was a Darknet user - who claimed to know the killer - who was upset by the images of the little boy who contacted police to tell them; 'I have just seen a boy murdered on the internet.' After commuting the murder, the killer logged into a chatroom and held up his bloodied hands to the camera. Police say the motive for the crime is still unknown.

Comedian Alibaba has reacted to reports of Heritage Bank suspending his wife Mary Akpobome over unrecovered loans she signed off as a top executive of the bank. Writing on his IG page this morning, he wrote; " Thank you to all who showed concern about the story concerning my wife. Let's wait to hear the Banks position". According to the story by Sahara Reporters, Heritage Bank of Nigeria asked Mary, who is one of its top executives, to go on compulsory suspension so she can recover loans she signed off on. Mary Akpobome after receiving the letter of suspension, reportedly cleared her desk because she anticipates that the task was so impossible she may not return to the bank.
