EFCC and DSS Ban 15 Judges from Traveling Abroad...See Names of Judges Involved

*Photo used for illustrative purpose* The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Department of State Security Service (DSS) have restricted the movement of not less than 13 judges to the country. The judges have been banned from traveling abroad pending the conclusion of their cases in court. Also, some of the judges banned who are being watch-listed can only go abroad if permitted by a court. In all, about 15 judges are undergoing probe by the EFCC and the DSS. As investigation of some of the indicted judges gets more serious, security agents have started screening the Petty Cash Book of the Supreme Court and payment vouchers to contractors. The Petty Cash Book which emanated from draw down from Secret/Operation Account was said to have revealed a lot on how about N2.2billion was spent on miscellaneous expenses. Fulani herdsmen invade Enugu community kill two, 19 missing

Nsukka- Anxiety and confusion has enveloped Abbi Community in Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area, Enugu State, following the invasion of the area by Fulani herdsmen who unleashed mayhem on the people, killing a brother and sister apart from razing down about seven houses and several motorcycles. Altogether, 19 persons were declared missing in the community even as several others were also wounded with machetes by the invaders. It was gathered that the Fulani herdsmen numbering over 30 emerged from the bush, and began to attack the people in the community last Thursday, killing their victims and maiming others with machetes before fleeing into the bush unharmed. The two relations who were killed were identified as Fidelis Okeja, 45, and his sister Mercy, 50.   Press statement from the presidency  All is now set for the deployment of 200,000 unemployed graduates selected in the first batch of the Buhari administration's plan to hire half a million Nigerians.While the 200,000 have been selected about two weeks ago, their names have now been sent to state governments and the FCT who would deploy them to their specific programme assignments.  The names would also be published this week on the N-Power internet portal, while the participants would start receiving SMS messages informing them of their selection as from Monday November 21, 2016. State governments and the FCT are also encouraged to post the names of the successful first batch applicants in their local government areas while there would be further public announcements. The burial ceremony, which took place on Friday, November 18th at the All Saints Anglican Church, Oraifite, Anambra State witnessed a turnout of dignitaries from all walks of life, including Deputy Senate President, Ekwerenmadu.
