But the Ku Klux Klan is now looking to diversify and increase its membership to include Jews, black people, homosexuals and those of Hispanic origin with a re-branding as 'the new Klan'. All those wanting to join the extreme right-wing group will still have to wear the white robes, masks and conical hats and take part in rituals, according to founder John Abarr. The rebranded organisation, called the Rocky Mountain Knights, claims to now stand for 'a strong America' rather than irrational hatred. 'White supremacy is the old Klan. This is the new Klan. The soldier stopped, fought a Boko Haram militant in hand combat before picking up his weapon to run away.

The Delta State Police Command has revealed that they have arrested suspects whose bullet hit and killed Nollywood actor Clems Onyeka. Clems Onyeka was last month killed by a stray bullet during a cross fire between police and armed robbers robbing a bullion van at the Delta State Capital. At a month-end press briefing to newsmen at the Police Headquaters in Asaba, Delta State Police Commissioner, Alkali Baba Usman revealed that during the month of October, his men arrested a robbery gang that attacked a bullion van on DBS Road, Asaba, the same robbery operation that led to the stray bullet that hit and killed the actor. Alkali told newsmen that two AK 47 rifle magazines containing 56 rounds of 7.62mm live ammunition were recovered from the suspects.

A hospital worker in Papua New Guinea, was arrested red handed having sex with a female dead body. According to the police in the tiny Oceania Island, say the hospital worker was arrested for offenses of raping and mutilating a corpse. Police spokesman David Terry said that the incident unfolded at the Port Moresby General Hospital late Wednesday night. A private security guard noticed that the lights were turned off in a room behind the main morgue, and went to investigate. The door was unlocked and the security guard entered the room. He turned the lights on, and observed the suspect making out with the naked dead body. The woman’s dead body had been transferred from the emergency room that day after being killed in a hit-and-run incident. Medical personnel found the suspect’s DNA on the woman. A Nigerian military helicopter on surveillance mission has crashed in Damariea in Girei Local Government Area of the state. Residents of the area said the helicopter crashed close to the temporary camp of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, which is now being used as a camp for Internally Displaced people in the state. I read Don C. Adinuba’s article titled  ‘Toying With The Fire Of Religion’ in Thisday Newspaper on November 5, 2014. He raised some interesting points, some of which I will attempt to address here.
