According to AFP a female suicide bomber blew herself up this evening Sunday November 16, at a mobile phone market in Azare Bauchi State, killing several people.... A witness told AFP" “A suicide bomber came into the market as it was closing and blew herself up in the middle of all the merchants and their customers,” I saw at least eight dead and lots of others wounded,” another witness, Alyu Habib said. The United Nations has said the population of Nigerian refugees in a Cameroonian camp tripled in two months. The Nigerians have been displaced by the terrorist activities of the Islamic sect, Boko Haram. In a statement issued by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, also known as the UN Refugee Agency, the organisation cited Cameroonian authorities’ claims that about 13,000 Nigerian refugees had now crossed over from the Nigerian border state of Adamawa after Boko Haram insurgents attacked and captured the town of Mubi in late October. UNHCR warned that “thousands of Nigerians are escaping the deadly threat posed by the terrorist group Boko Haram and fleeing into neighbouring Cameroon.” The organisation said the refugees fled to the Guider and Gashiga towns, northern region of Cameroon, and to Bourha, Mogode and Boukoula in the Far North. 74 bodies of South African nationals who died in the   September 12th   Synagogue building collapse, have been released to the South African government and will be flown to South Africa this night.   The bodies which were retrieved from the General Hospital, Yaba and the Isolo General Hospital, were placed in mobile mortuaries pictured above. They will depart Nigeria via 2 chartered airplanes at exactly 11.50pm . Upon their arrival in South Africa, the corpses will be handed to families of the victims for proper burial. The family of first civilian Governor of old Anambra State,  businessman and politician , Chief Jim Nwobodo has been thrown into mourning as his first son, Dr Ifeanyichukwu Nwobodo Jnr died last night November 14th at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital Enugu after a brief illness. Dr Nwobodo Jnr was a medical doctor, who graduated from University of Benin over 20 years ago. He was one-time Commissioner for Youths and Sport Development in Enugu during the tenure of Governor Chimaroke Nnamani. He was married to Lois Onyi Chukwu Nwobodo. May his soul rest in peace...Amen.
