President Jonathan's Addresses Recent Massacre By Bokoharam During Centenary Speech(READ )

Image
To mark Nigeria's Centenary anniversary ,GEJ addressed the  nagging Boko haram issue  My dear compatriots, as we celebrate our centenary, the security situation in some of our North-Eastern States, sadly remains a major concern for us. Just yesterday, young students, full of hopes and dreams for a great future, were callously murdered as they slept in their college dormitories in Yobe State. I am deeply saddened by their deaths and that of other Nigerians at the hands of terrorists. Our hearts go out to their parents and relatives, colleagues and school authorities.  We will continue to do everything possible to permanently eradicate the scourge of terrorism and insurgency from our country.  We recognise that the root cause of militancy, terrorism and insurgency is not the strength of extremist ideas but corrupted values and ignorance. That is why our counter-terrorism strategy is not just about enforcing law and order as we have equipped our security force...

29 year old Rabelani Ramali (pictured right), a community worker from rural Limpopo province in South African has launched a contest in the country where girls who are virgins at 35 and below would be rewarded with R100,000 or less plus medals; gold, silver or bronze, depending on their ages. He said his NGO, SA Virgin Girls Awards, which was registered in November 2013, is set to take on this task as he has recruited 31 volunteer workers who would help disburse forms among women in schools, market, churches and other places. Rabelani said he has contacted local medical doctors who have agreed to help him carry out the virginity test on the girls who would come forward to get tested. My Husband Went Holidaying With His Ex One Week Before Our Wedding

Image
At last , I am also writing my story after reading from other ladies on your blog. I need to share mine too. I am not writing because I need advise, I am not depressed at all and I won't let my feeble self be. I am writing because I can't trust any of my friends. Can't confide in them, they might betray me. After reading  your blog for this long, I am beginning to feel with you the freedom one feels around a close elder sister.  Aunty  Eya , my Traditional wedding took place last week Thursday. Last night while looking for spare keys in my husband's brief case, I bumped into an envelope of lovely pictures he took with his ex at the Ranch just a week to our traditional marriage. The same time he went to see his sick friend.

TB Joshua Shares A Heart-Touching Testimony

Image
This testimony will make you see life from a far better perspective... Survival was a daily struggle for Lucky Susa, a young man from Delta State, Nigeria. Pushing a local trolley around the busy Mile 12 Market in the heart of Lagos, he scavenged an occasional N100 or N200 by assisting market customers to transport their items to the nearest bus stop. With these stipends, he barely managed to feed and fend for himself. As dawn broke on the morning of December 9th 2008, Lucky arose from slumber and headed for the market as usual. Little did he know that an event was about to transpire that would forever change his life. “I brought two bags of rice and beans to the bus stop,” he reminisced. “Across the tarmac, there were some people gathering. I crossed over to look at what was happening.” The sight that Lucky beheld was heart-breaking. An elderly lady lying in a pool of her own blood. "I began to shout that people should help this woman. They told me, 'The car that hit th...

Father Arrested for Padlocking Son’s Mouth, Beating Him to Death

Image
It was a bizarre case of sheer wickedness when a 30-year-old man, Chris Elvis, allegedly padlocked his son's mouth in order to mute his screams of pain while he battered him to death. He has since been arrested by the police in Lagos. Elvis was said to have allegedly accused his four-year-old Godrich of being an “Ogbanje” or “evil child” who had brought the family ill fortune in recent times. Elvis, who is a security guard, beat his son, burned him all over his body with a hot iron and then locked him in a plastic drum, according to court documents. The child’s mother called the police after returning from the market to find her son’s horrific death. Elvis tried to act like he was mentally ill when he was arrested, but the authorities said his condition was normal, according to International Business Times. The security guard has been held in custody after being charged with murder. The charge sheet reads: “That you, Chris Elvis, on February 10, 2014, about 5 pm at 7, Ad...

Forget Pleasure, S£x Is Good a Medicine. Find Out How

Image
Yes, it’s midweek and the average worker is gradually preparing for the weekend, which commences on Friday evening. Weekends are those glorious times of the week when we take care of those things we have pushed off — including, ahem, sex — during the week because of the pressure of work and also because of the need to wake up early and sleep late. Now that the weekend stares each of us in the face, it’s also necessary to have a rough idea of what we will do in order to stay focused, healthy and totally revved up to meet the demands of the new week. One physical activity that can help in this regard, researchers say, is getting down to ‘business,’ not necessarily to make babies, but really to unwind and let your partner feel your presence the right way all over.

Jose Mourinho Made Flattering Comment About Eto's Age, Said It Was A Joke

Image
Jose Mourinho says it is a "disgrace that somebody is recording a private conversation" after he appeared to criticise his strikers in a video broadcast on French television. The Chelsea manager says whoever recorded the conversation should be "embarrassed as a media professional", but says there is no rift between himself and Samuel Eto'o as he was he was joking when he made an unflattering comment about the Cameroonian forward's age.   Canal Plus published a video on its website, in which Mourinho commented: “The problem with Chelsea is we lack a scorer. I have one (Eto’o) but he’s 32. Maybe 35, who knows?” Eto'o has only scored eight goals in 27 appearances since he arrived at Stamford Bridge last August, while fellow strikers Fernando Torres and Demba Ba have only managed 11 goals between them in all competitions.
