Last night Nick Cannon's father, James Cannon, posted some relationship questions on his Facebook wall that hit a little too close to home considering his son's impending divorce from Mariah Carey. When Mariah fans who felt he was referring to her dragged Mr Cannon for his post, he claimed the questions came from a book he wrote three years ago and had nothing whatsoever to do with his son and daughter-in-law's crumbling relationship. 16 year old Nigerian Student Temidayo Joseph (pictured above) was found dead yesterday morning just hours after he collected his GC SE exam results. His school, Ockendon Academy, in Essex, UK, announced his demise in a statement on their website yesterday and commiserated with his family over the loss of the promising footballer and athlete. Management of the school said he'd been to school on Thursday to collect his results and didn't look troubled. The circumstances of Temidayo's death are not yet known but it is not being treated as suspicious. May his soul rest in peace...amen. Continue The announcement...

Dennis The fiancé of a nurse who died of Ebola has been discharged from the Ebola treatment center in Lagos this evening after his third test came out negative. Dennis, who was late Justina Obi Ejelonu’s fiancé had been quarantined and later admitted into treatment after two tests confirmed that he was positive. However, this evening Dennis was discharged from the treatment center with a certificate of clearance. He walked off the center in good health according to top doctors who spoke anonymously with Saharareporters. A second spouse of a deceased doctor who had primary contact with Liberian -American Thomas Sawyer who was admitted yesterday with Dennis remains hospitalized at the center, currently undergoing treatment. Dennis story is a powerful one, he refused to abandon his fiancé despite her being diagnosed with Ebola. He told Saharareporters that Justina lost a two-month pregnancy, vomited severally on him while she collapsed and had to be carried to hospital

Nicki Minaj's rehearsal for the MTV VMAs took a frightening turn on Friday. During a run through of the singer's routine for her hit "Anaconda", a 6-foot-long boa constrictor bit an unidentified backup dancer's left arm. According to MTV, the practice stopped following the bite and Nicki rushed over to check on the dancer. "Did she get bit by the snake?" Nicki reportedly asked. The snake wasn't venomous, but MTV didn't take any chances — the dancer's wound was cleaned by an onsite medic and she was immediately taken to a hospital. "It is in no way life-threatening, but scary," said Chris Velvin, director of production safety for Viacom Media Networks. "We wanted her to start getting treatment as soon as possible." John Abraham Godson, a Polish citizen born and raised in Nigeria, who was sworn in as Poland's first black parliament member, has just taken part in the on going   Ice Bucket Challenge.  He has also  put a challenge to the Polish  Prime Minister-Donald Tusk, Wicepremierowi Sean Piechocińskiemu and Prime Minister Leszek Miller. One of the United States aid workers who recovered from an Ebola infection, Dr. Kent Brantly, has said he is “thrilled to be alive” as he and another patient were discharged from the hospital. In his first public speech after the leaving the hospital on Thursday for treatment of the deadly virus, Brantly, 33, thanked supporters for their prayers. “Today is a miraculous day,” said Brantly, while addressing reporters at Emory University hospital.  “I am thrilled to be alive, to be well, and to be reunited with my family. As a medical missionary, I never imagined myself in this position. When my family and I moved to Liberia two years ago, Ebola was not on the radar. Four long months after over 200 girls were taken from their school in Chibok, Borno State, the Nigerian government have not been able to find them ...and now their parents want the case closed and have asked the Federal government to just help bring back their daughters corpses. Some of the parents said after missing for four months, they already presumed the girls are no longer alive and have performed their funeral rites according to their custom. The parents position was made known yesterday August 22nd at the #Bringbackourgirls advocacy group daily sit-out meeting for the rescue of the missing girls at Unity Fountain, Abuja. Lagos State Police Command is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the kidnap and murder of a 20-year-old undergraduate, identified as John Chinedu Okere, who until his death was a 300 level Electrical Engineering student at Covenant University, Otta in Ogun State. According to reports, Chinedu left his parent’s house in the morning of Wednesday, August 6, 2014, to a Hospital in Yaba, Lagos for medical reasons and never returned. He reportedly left home with about N6000 and that was the last time he was seen alive.
