Omotayo Adeoye was a brilliant student who attends one of New York City’s elite schools, the high school of Math, Science and Engineering in Manhattan. Sadly, her body was found floating in the Hudson River just a week short of a citywide police search for her. Adeoye, 17, had committed suicide on May 29th by jumping off into the Hudson River near the George Washington Bridge Thursday afternoon. It came after the young student had been caught cheating on a difficult German Language exam by her teacher, Eva Malikova, at the elite school. Humiliated in front of her classmates, Adeoye immediately left the school building, but not before leaving behind a suicide note. The short note, later found by school officials and police read, “I just want to go away forever on the bottom of the river.” The suicide, say police, occurred that Thursday Afternoon at about 3:30pm New York time.  Eyewitnesses told police that Adeoye was seen jumping into the Hudson River shortly thereafter...

Dr Dre is reported to have dropped a whooping $40million to buy the mega mansion of supermodel Gisele Bundchen and her quarterback husband, Tom Brady in Brentwood, California.   Dre, who recently signed a $3billion deal with Apple for his Beats Electronic company was the highest bidder for the house which has been on the market for about three months now. The mansion, which is Eco-friendly, is made of two estates that collectively has 8 bedrooms, six garages and a moat. The main house alone is on almost 14,000 square feet with six bedrooms and nine bathrooms. It also has a professional grade home gym, an infinity pool, a waterfall and a motor court.

Three people, including a police officer, have been killed in Enugu, southeast Nigeria, after a group promoting the re-emergence of Biafra attempted to take over a broadcast station in the state capital. It was gathered that the group known as Biafra Zionists Federation, attempted to gain access to the Enugu State Broadcasting Service in the early hours of Thursday, with the aim of seizing the station for a broadcast by its leader, Benjamin Onwuka. The group members were said to be armed with dangerous weapons. Two members of the group were reportedly killed by security men as they fled the scene, while the leader of the group was reportedly arrested, alongside some of his members. They were arrested by the police and paraded before the media at the police headquarters in Enugu. It is not yet clear what message the group had intended to broadcast.
