This is the 18 year old young man who was shot dead yesterday Dec. 23rd by a police officer at a gas station not far from where Michael Brown was killed in Ferguson, Missouri. But the police say this is a totally different case because Antonio Martin had a gun and pointed it at 34yr old unnamed officer, who pulled out his own gun and shot three times, killing Antonio. Antonio pictured above pointing a gun at the police officer as the officer responded to a call of a theft in the area. The police officer fired three shots, one hitting the teen. About 1, 200 chickens which were being transported to  Benin , Edo State  to be slaughtered for Christmas have died in a car crash. The chickens, valued at about N4,800,000, lost their lives in the accident which occurred at Adolor junction, Ugbowo, along Benin-Ore highway on Saturday, December 20. According to a witness, the driver carrying the chickens to the Uselu market for sale had dozed off on the wheel leading to the crash. However, no human life was lost in the incident.

The police in  Kano state  have arrested and paraded a young female suicide bomber. 13-year-old  Zaharau  was  caught with an explosive vest  on December 11 at a hospital in the state. The young girl claimed to be an indigene of Bauchi and reportedly said that she had been recruited into the “trade” by her father. Zaharau is said to have showed up at the hospital to receive treatment after getting injured in a December 10 bombing at the Kantin Kwari textile market. The attack was carried out by two female suicide bombers andleft at least 6 people dead.

Here's a sad photo of  Jordanian pilot who was captured by ISIS militants after his warplane was shot down while he was conducting airstrikes over Syria. ISIS shared photos of his capture on Twitter Jordanian Information Minister Mohammad Momani told AP that  First Lieutenant Mu'ath Safi Yousef al-Kaseasbeh's plane was shot down by 'ground fire'. This is the first  time a foreign soldier will fall into ISIS hand since the U.S-led coalition began its air campaign against the extremists.  The 27 year old pilot is said to be from  a prominent Jordanian family. His family said Mu'ath felt it was a religious duty to fight ISIS because they were 'distorting the true spirit of Islam'. His family has publicly begged for mercy, asking ISIS to release him but that's probably not going to happen.. ISIS are now reportedly  in possession of MANPADS - shoulder-fired anti-aircraft missiles
