While many people are busy hailing Bruce Jenner and calling him a hero for living his 'true self, rapper Snoop Dogg ain't got time for that. He's part of a few who feel - but won't publicly say - that they think Bruce has a mental disorder. The rapper took to instagram today to slam mainstream media who are way more interested in Bruce's story and glorifying it and ignoring inspiring stories like what Akon did recently. He launched a Solar academy (an institution that will train electrical engineers) that will supply electricity to millions of people in Africa and no mainstream media has carried it. What annoys me about Bruce Jenner is how he's making a public spectacle of himself/herself. What's the docuseries for? Why can't he live his truth quietly? Anyway, see what Snoop wrote below

A Texas father has been charged with capital murder after his son died following an alleged beating.  Anthony Trakemon Powell appeared in court on Tuesday over allegations that he struck his 3-year-old son Tristan "on the head with an open hand," according to release from the Houston Police Department. Powell's sister Prosha Land said in court documents that she saw Powell "discipline" her nephew "multiple times" with "his hand and with a belt" for several accidents and "lack of progress" in his son's potty training. Land said last week she observed Powell strike Tristan in the head after he had an accident, causing the toddler to fall from a standing position to his bottom. Then, Land said in court documents, she said Powell picked up his son, "like a rag doll," and hit him again, in the head. Barely 24 hours after more than 30 people were killed in a bomb blast that ripped an Abattoir in Maiduguri, Borno state, another bomb explosion has occurred in the city. This time along Baga road near Maimalari Barracks of the 7th Division of the Nigerian Army this evening at about 5.20pm. Babagana Kana who resides in the area said "We heard loud explosions in the timber sheds area about 100 metres away from sector 1 command, shortly soldiers started shooting so everyone fled. I couldn't wait to ascertain the number of casualties.”  There are reports that 6 persons were killed in the explosion.

These are the house wives who were  caught with cocaine  stuffed in their private parts at the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos. Alaka Deburah Uzoma, 47, was found with 1.180 kilogrammes of cocaine as she inserted 260 grammes of substance in her private part and also ingested 60 wraps weighing 920 grammes. The second suspect, Mrs. Chukwujekwu Chinyere Priscilla, 45 was caught with 1.455 kilogrammes of cocaine as she packed 59 wraps on her body, inserted one parcel weighing 1.285 kilogrammes in her vagina and ingested ten wraps weighing 170 grams. They both claimed they ventured in to drug trafficking because their husbands abandoned them.They were en route China

A French tourist has been killed during his visit to Abaomege in Onicha Local Government Area of Ebonyi State. Governor Dave Umahi of the state disclosed this on Wednesday when he threatened to sack any local government chairman or development centre cordinator where cases of violence or cultism occur in his domain. According to the governor, "the killing of the tourist occured on Tuesday  night when the victim and his wife were passing through Abaomege on their way to Calabar, Cross River State.They went into the bush and set their tent so as to have some rest before continuing their journey. As they were resting in the tent, gunmen stormed the area and shot at them,"Sad enough, they shot and killed the man. The corpse has been deposited in the mortuary. The wife was  devastated. The first of a series of tweets was sent from the account of broadcast reporter Ahmen Khawaja at around 9.30am (0830 GMT), and said: 'BREAKING: Queen Elizabeth is being treated at King Edward 7th Hospital in London. Statement due shortly." Khawaja then added: "Queen Elizabrth (sic) has died," according to a screen shot published by British media. The tweets sparked a storm on social networks and the rumours about the queen's health were picked up by some international media outlets, including Germany's Bild.de and CNN affiliate service CNNNewsource. Four fuel tankers, all traveling along the Benin Bypass were involved in an accident this afternoon. Fuel from one of the tankers spilled on the road but thankfully no one was killed in the incident.

The Nigerian Army has released a statement reacting to the Amnesty International's report earlier today which indicted Senior Military officers of committing war crimes.  The world humanitarian body m entioned names and called for a full investigation of the officers who they allege participated, sanctioned and failed to prevent the deaths of about 8,000 Nigerians since activities of Boko Haram started in Nigeria. See the Army's reaction below... The Defence Headquarters has noted with dismay the gruesome allegations made by the Amnesty International against some senior military officers serving and retired of the Nigerian Armed Forces. It is unfortunate that all effort made in the allegation was geared towards continuation of blackmail against the military hierarchy in which the organisation had embarked upon as far back as the inception of military’s action against terrorist in the North East.
