The Nigerian military today December 3rd, destroyed a vehicle laden with Improvised Explosives Device, IED meant for suicide attacks in Konduga in Borno state. According to PR Nigeria, an undisclosed number of terrorist were killed during the destruction of the vehicles .

Edward Nnaji (left) and other kidnap suspects According to a report by PM News , A robbery suspect who claimed to be a movie actor and played a role in a film titled Friday Night and also the music director at Christ Embassy Church, Zone 1, Idimangoro Parish, Agege, Lagos, western Nigeria, has been arrested by the operatives of the Federal Special Anti Robbery Squad, Lagos Island. Edward Nnaji, 25,    and two of his alleged accomplices were arrested two years after the allegedly conspired with others to kidnap a female banker, Popoola Morenikeji, and collected the sum of N5 million as ransom before they set her free. The suspects, according to the police, allegedly kidnapped the victim at Amuwo Odofin area of Mile 2, Lagos close to her residence when she stepped out of her vehicle to buy something and took her to an uncompleted building in a bush at Mowe area of Ogun State. They allegedly tied her legs and hands and kept    her for four days until a ransom

The leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) have fixed  Sunday December 7th  as a day for all churches across Nigeria to offer special prayers against the activities of Boko Haram sect and also give special offering for victims of the various attacks. In a statement signed by the General secretary of the association,  Dr. Musa Asake, CAN asked Christians to pray for all who have been affected by the activities of Boko Haram irrespective of their religious affiliations. According to  TMZ , the Pimp My Ride presenter was arrested in Laguna Beach, immediately following his wedding reception after he, his bride and their wedding guests partied hard at the St. Regis Monarch Beach. The Anambra state government is set to build a new international market through a private public partnership (PPP) arrangement. Speaking exclusively,the Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Chief Tony Onyima disclosed that the project will be located at Ogbunike, near Onitsha. The project will be handled by the West African International trade Centre. It is noteworthy to mention that this project is one the direct investments into Anambra state by the Willie Obiano administration. The new market will also have a section dedicated for pharmaceutical products to meet standards set by the World Health Organization. Chief Onyima explained that the new project had become necessary as the old Onitsha market lacked space to further expansion due to its peculiar location. The Onitsha main market is listed as one of the biggest markets in West Africa and can rightfully be described as her commercial power house.
