Unknown men earlier today January 11th bombed the APC secretariat in Abam Ama in Okrika Local government area in Rivers state, leaving three party members seriously injured. They are currently on admission at an undisclosed hospital.  Confirming the attack, the local government party chairman, Christian Asifamaka said the attack on the three storey building was carried out at about 3am today... "The All Progressives Congress in Okrika views this latest attack as a deliberate provocation by our opponents, the People’s Democratic Party to draw the APC into a battle that would destabilize our beloved local government area. This is unfortunate and the APC in Okrika would not allow Okrika to become a hotbed of crises as the PDP would wish.” he told newsmen. Some guy named Lugard Ekhator is on Facebook claiming that his grand father, Pa Ekhator Onabor, is a super-centenarian - born around 1890, which would make him about 125 years old. According to the grandson, Pa Ekhator Onabor is the current Odionwere of former Ugbugo village, now Evbuohen N’Oba, near Ugo Niyekeorhionmwon, in Orhionmwon LGA of Edo State. "He married a wife who had six children for him (2 men and 4 women), but died in the 80s. One of the female child (the first born) is late now some years ago and was of old age, as Pa Ekhator now has 5 surviving children. More of what the grandson wrote on Facebook below... 2 female suicide bombers attack crowded market in Yobe

Two female suicide bombers today, January 11, blew themselves up at the crowded Kasuwar Jagwal GSM market in Potiskum, Yobe State. The attack is said to have claimed six lives while 21 people were left with varying degrees of injury. "We evacuated six bodies including those of the two female suicide bombers to the hospital. Twenty-one people were injured in the attacks. One of the bombers looked 23 and the other 15,” a security source told AFP. “The first bomber -- the 23 year-old -- detonated her explosives just outside the entrance of the market, where volunteers were sweeping people going inside the market with metal detectors. The second bomber was terrified by the explosion and she tried to dash across the road but she also exploded,”   the official added. Car Bomb Kills Two Policemen In Potiskum

Two police officers were killed and others injured at the Divisional Police Station in Potiskum, Potiskum local government area in Yobe state after a Volkswagen golf car filled with bombs went off at the station. Daily Trust reports that the car was earlier intercepted by the policemen. The police station is said to be close to the palace of the Emir of Fika. “It was while they were at the gates of the police station undergoing security checks that the car exploded,” an officer, who spoke on condition of anonymity told AFP news agency. Buhari’s educational qualification has come under scrutiny at various times by critics of the Daura-born retired General who have continually cited his lack of educational qualifications as one of the reasons why he is not capable of leading Nigeria effectively. An email purportedly from the US Army War College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, United States of America has surfaced online disputing the claims on Buhari’s certificate that he gained a Masters Degree in Strategic Studies from the college in 1980. Ogboru, an indigene of Delta state is being detained at the dreaded State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) cell in Yaba, over a case of alleged murder.He allegedly stabbed one of his neighbours to death during a fight on December 22, 2014. Crime Guard  gathered that Ogboru, a driver with Worldwide Commercial Ventures located in Matori area of Lagos, engaged one Jonathan Ameh, a father of three, in a fight at their residence in Gowon Estate, Okonola in Egbeda.
