30 soldiers allegedly stationed in front of Bola Tinubu's Lagos house
The national leader of the Nigeria’s main opposition party All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu, has bemoaned that his private residence along Bouillon Road in Ikoyi, has been under surveillance by soldiers for three days. Tinubu lamented that about 30 soldiers “battle-ready and helmet-wearing” riding in three patrol vans and an army truck have been stationed close to the entrance of the gate to Tinubu’s house. In a comment released by his media office Tinubu claimed that the soldiers were first noticed on Sunday a few minutes to 11pm in an army truck and were positioned about 500 meters away from his entrance. “Later they moved close to his gate as if making efforts to enter. The stern looking soldiers were around for hours on Sunday and returned on Monday to continue their surveillance.
