Image
All these drama with our politicians, leaders and political parties is becoming quite silly. They all just seem so confused. One of the founding members of the ruling party and former Nigerian president, Olusegun Obasanjo has sent a letter to the National Chairman of PDP, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, where he gave a notice of his withdrawal from activities of the party. In the letter, Obasanjo said although he is still a card carrying member of the party, he will withdraw his activities with PDP at local, state, zonal and national level until a person he describes as a criminal wanted abroad to face criminal charges is removed as the party's South West zonal leader. Obasanjo proceeded to add that he was forwarding with the letter, “recent documents” on the alleged activities of the person. The letter, dated January 7th, was obtained by Tribune. TOO MUCH PLEASURE: Read How A Woman Had 3 Hours Orgasm and Was Hospitalized

Orgasms are beautiful, magical things aren't they? For some women, they are hard to achieve, but when they come (yes, I just used that word), they are breathtaking. But as in many cases, too much of something isn't always a good thing. Even when talking about the Big O. Just ask Liz from Seattle. Liz had a three-hour orgasm. Yes, you read that correctly. So we can't be envious of Liz. We have to wonder how in the heck this happened. And how insane it is that she had to be rushed to the hospital to cure her climactic affliction. This is how it went down. Liz and her lover Eric had sex. Liz had an orgasm. And that orgasm wouldn't quit. There were greater peaks of pleasure happening for her even after Eric was not even next to her. An hour goes by. Too much. Way too much. Two hours go by and it's still happening. Liz said, "I started hopping up and down to see if that would do anything. I started trying to drink wine to see if that would calm down my system....

It’s tough carrying out rituals in US, Europe –Ifa Priests

Image
What is sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander goes a popular idiom. But this saying does not apply to every situation. Places of worship for Nigerian Christians and Muslims in Europe, Latin America, Canada, Australia and the United States are ubiquitous. But where do Nigerian traditional worshippers worship when abroad? Where do they perform rituals and 'sacrifices', which are components of their religion, when abroad? What is the efficacy of the rituals and 'sacrifices' performed in foreign lands? Does 'juju' work abroad? The advent of colonialism and western civilisation had whittled down the acceptability of traditional religions in Nigeria through concomitant negative effects on culture and language. The continuous exodus of Nigerians from the misrule by subsequent governments back at home – in the early 1980s till date – gave vent to the disdain with which many Nigerians hold traditional religions.

Queen Ure Is Angry Over Soul E's Secret Wedding

Image
Immediately after his quiet marriage recently to his Abuja-based lover, singer Soul E had told whoever cared to listen that he was never married to Queen Ure who he lived with and enjoyed "everything" few years ago in the city of Lagos. And it appears the woman, sorry the lady, is very mad at the latest development. She was enraged when Saturday Beats tried to get her reaction. Below is what Queen Ure said: “I am not going to answer any of such questions. Don’t even ask me anything concerning the marriage. I am doing my music and my charity work and nobody should ask me any question on that marriage.  “I am not about to promote anybody. If you want to write about him, you can go ahead. Don’t tag me along. This is 2014.  What is my own? What is that? I am not mad ! Why would anybody make him (Soul E) relevant on my head? I will not answer any question about it, you should go and ask him questions about himself and not me,”

At last, Jonathan turns against Tukur

Image
At last, President Goodluck Jonathan has turned against the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, as the crisis rocking the ruling party worsens. Saturday PUNCH  learnt that for the first time, the President openly condemned the party chairman’s administrative style at a stormy  meeting  with Tukur  and  other members of the PDP National Working Committee at the presidential villa  in Abuja  on Thursday night. At the meeting held under what could best be described as a tensed atmosphere, the President was said to have expressed his displeasure over the way the PDP chairman was running the party. Specifically, the President was said to have pointedly accused Tukur of not working well with some organs of the party like the members of the National Executive Committee, Board of Trustees, governors and state party chairmen   across the states.
