Image
Burundi's President Pierre Nkurunziza has won the controversial 3rd term. The country's electoral commission says he got nearly 70% of votes in  Tuesday's  poll following an election marred by violence and a boycott by the opposition. Nkrunziza's nearest rival, Agathon Rwasa, took 18.99%. The president's decision in April to seek a third term had plunged the country into chaos, with many taking to the streets to protest. There was even an unsuccessful coup. Opposition say they won't accept the election result because Nkurunziza's 3rd term bid violated their constitution.

Probe: FG’s selective, playing to the gallery – Fayose

Image
Read the press statement below... Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has said announcements in the media by the President Mohammadu Buhari led All Progressives Congress (APC) Federal Government that the immediate past Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) government of Dr Goodluck Jonathan will be probed was mere “playing to the gallery,” noting that “there is no need announcing the intended probe in the media. Rather, the Federal Government should just go ahead and carry out the probe. The governor, who also counselled the Buhari-led government not to embark on selective probe, added that; “From all indications, it is obvious that the probe they are talking about is targeted at some people and if activities of anti-graft agencies during the tenure of President Buhari are going to be selective, the president should know that the world is watching.” In a release issued in Ado Ekiti by his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, Governor Fayos...

Tompolo Discloses Why He Whats To Meet With MEND

Image
Government Ekpemupolo, former commander of the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) better known as Tompolo, says Saturday’s meeting of militant leaders is about calming the tension building among ex-militants who have been putting him “under intense pressure” over the federal government’s indifference to the amnesty programme. Maintaining that he remains committed to the peace and stability of the country, Tompolo said pressure from stakeholders in the region made him call for discussions. He said beneficiaries of the amnesty programme were being affected by the delay of the federal government in unveiling its policy about the programme. “I am compelled to clarify issues as they relate to the meeting of the leadership of ex-agitators under the platform of MEND and other organisations summoned at my instance,” he said in a statement he personally signed. “The tension generated by the meeting is uncalled for, diversionary and mischievous as no evil is i...

Buhari denies accusing U.S. Government of aiding Boko Haram

Image
Statement from the presidency below... Persisting claims in  the local and international media that President Buhari has accused or indicted the United States Government of helping the terrorist group, Boko Haram are untrue and widely off mark. Reports to that effect are an unfortunate misinterpretation and distortion of the President’s remarks at the United States Institute of Peace (USIP) during his highly successful official visit to Washington DC. Indeed, President Buhari made it abundantly clear in those remarks, copies of which were circulated to the media, that he was convinced that the United States could never support groups such as Boko Haram. “I know the American people cannot support any group engaged in these crimes,” the President clearly stated. The regrets expressed by President Buhari at USIP about the impact of the application of the Leahy Law on Nigeria’s war against  Boko Haram and terrorism cannot be construed as an indictment of Pr...

According to  Abia Facts Newspaper ,  The real reason why Dr Okezie Ikpeazu is desperate to get loan has been uncovered. Abia Facts Newspaper  received an unsolicited information from a source deep in Government house that he is trying to buy his “freedom”. From his masters. Our source lamented that while other states are paying salaries from the LNG income , the governor is unable to do so because the former governor collected N1billion of the money upfront. T A Orji, argued that the allocation received was for May and that he was entitled to collect the security vote of N750 milion, this he did and also deducted N250m as part payment of campaign expenses. “I Will Not Marginalise Any Part Of Nigeria”- Buhari (VIDEO)

Image
FOR THOSE THAT FIND IT DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND PLS READ AND WATCH THIS VIDEO. IF YOU WANT TO EXPLAIN PLEASE DO THAT CONSTRUCTIVELY AND DO NOT INSULT. LET US GET THE FACT RIGHT. TO ME I FEEL THERE ARE 2 SIDE TO HIS STATEMENT   IF YOU HAVE NOT WATCH THIS VIDEO DON'T COMMENT PLS (1)"(Going by election results), constituencies that gave me 97% can not in all honesty be treated, on some issues, with constituencies that gave me 5%. I think these are political realities. While, certainly there will be justice for everybody but the people who voted, and made their votes count, they must feel the government has appreciated the effort they put in putting the government in place. I think this is really fair." (2)"By the constitution no state can be excluded from government, so there is no way even if I want to show gratitude to those constituencies that heavily voted for me against those that didn’t even vote for me, they have the protection of the ...

LIFE ISSUES: MY COUSIN DRUG ME EVERY NIGHT JUST TO HAVE S£X WITH MY BOYFRIEND

Image
“My name is (name withheld), I’m a student of Olabisi Onabanjo University, in my finals. My female cousin who is a 100l student of my school, drugs me everynight, I mean she gives me sleeping tablets everynight just to make love with my boyfriend. Myself and my boyfriend live together on campus, since my cousin is still a fresher, I allowed her to squat with us because I’m the real occupant (Landlord) of the apartment. Is it a bad thing to let your cousin squat with you and your spouse? She hasn’t even spend a year living with us, she’s already having s£x with my boyfriend under the same roof and in my presence. I just used to realize I wake up late for lectures and also very weak and tired everyday, to the extent that I fainted and I was rushed to the hospital. How I discovered was very funny, even tho I’ve been suspecting both of them, So on this very day I went for lectures that day but I came home earlier than the time I was suppose to come home. When I got home, I d...
