Gov Okezie In Trouble As T.A Orji Collects N1 Billion From N3.2 Billion Abia Share Of $1.7 Billion LNG Tax Fee

According to Abia Facts Newspaper, The real reason why Dr Okezie Ikpeazu is desperate to get loan has been uncovered.

Abia Facts Newspaper received an unsolicited information from a source deep in Government house that he is trying to buy his “freedom”. From his masters.

Our source lamented that while other states are paying salaries from the LNG income , the governor is unable to do so because the former governor collected N1billion of the money upfront.

T A Orji, argued that the allocation received was for May and that he was entitled to collect the security vote of N750 milion, this he did and also deducted N250m as part payment of campaign expenses.

All entreaties from Governor Okezie to his master to accept N500m fell on deaf ear.The governor we are told has been going to Enugu on a regular basis to consult and plead with the former governor who threatened to collect more as contracted between them before the election.

Our source said that infuriated Okezie vowed to look for money and pay off his debt and buy his freedom hence the lie to the house of assembly that the N30billion loan is for roads despite the fact that there were no budgetary allocations for the expenditure head while in actual fact it is targeted to buying his freedom and taking care of his tribunal cases.

The source of this information is so deep in government house and so credible to be ignored. It is this same source that first leaked to AFN that the former governor is not comfortable with the deplorable conditions of the state after his tenure, that he decided to reside in Enugu where he built a palatial home.

AFN therefore call on the government to refute this allegation by showing reliable evidence and proof of what has been done with the bail out funds.
