L eader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu has claimed that Hausa/Fulani have terrorize the Igbo socio-political organization into a “position of silence and stupor,”saying ”all those idiots with Biafran names that say they want to be Nigerians are pigs” Addressing members of IPOB at his home town in Isiama Afaraukwu Ibeku, Umuahia, Abia State, the IPOB leader alleged that Hausa/Fulani’s are terrorising people everywhere they go. Kanu wondered why nobody from the South East has been arrested for declaring Oduduwa Republic but law enforcement agents have been coming hard at those clamouring for the restoration of Biafra. Withdraw charges against my client, Nnamdi Kanu’s lawyer tells Nigerian govt

I feanyi Ejiofor, lead counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has urged the federal government to withdraw the five-count charge preferred against his client and four others. Mr. Ejiofor, alongside counsel to the other defendants, made the demand on Wednesday in Abuja at a press briefing. He said that their demand was premised on the grounds that the federal government had refused to open its case against the defendants. “We demand that the five-count charge preferred against our clients, Nnamdi Kanu, Chidiebere Onwudiwe, Benjamin Madubugwu, David Nwawuisi and Bright Chimezie be immediately withdrawn and the defendants freed without further ado. “This is because they have committed no offence known to law, and particularly because the federal government has refused to open her case on the criminal charges preferred against our clients. “The second to fourth defendants cannot continue to be detained on the strength of the

Sowore vs Saraki: I never participated in any inglorious manipulation of judicial process – Yusuf Ali SAN

Update: Dammy Krane's arraignment hearing scheduled for August 17

T he latest update according to the Miami-Dade County Criminal Justice Online System on the Felony case against Nigerian singer, Dammy Krane indicates that his arraignment hearing has now been scheduled for August 17, 2017. Just so you know, In felony cases, after the arraignment, if the case does not settle or get dismissed the judge holds a preliminary hearing. At this hearing, the judge will decide if there is enough evidence that the defendant committed the crime to make the defendant have to appear for a trial. Dammy Krane will now appear in court at 9:15am on the said date at the Justice Building, Room 4-3 with Courtney Erik as his defense attorney and Migiel De La O as the judge.

Anxiety mounts over departure of Presidential jet from London

T HERE was speculation Tuesday night that the Presidential jet in London departed the country perhaps to Nigeria which caused tension within the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
