Controversy trails Uche Ogbodo’s marriage crash

Not just a few were shocked when controversial actress, Uche Ogbodo, got married traditionally some months back and even got pregnant. And it equally came as a shock when it was reported few weeks ago that the marriage had crashed. Uche reportedly said the marriage couldn’t last because “it was built on lies.” But according to www.momo.com.ng, her husband’s father, Pastor Ato, said Uche lied against his son. According to the report, Pastor Ato said, “We went to her village and paid the bride price and after that, she was still bearing her father’s name. I don’t know why she didn’t change it. If she is saying now that she is not married, then she has divorced herself. “Marriage is not by force. I am telling you now that what she told you is a lie. I am a servant of God and I cannot tell lies. If she is saying that she is not married, that means she has rejected us. Photos: Nigerian woman who died in fatal car crash in Ireland buried

Queeneth Esezobor, who was one of the four Nigerians that died in a fatal auto crash on June 28th in Mullinger Ireland (read  here ), has been buried. She was buried yesterday Friday 11th July after a church service at the Catholic Church Longford, Ireland. She left behind a husband and five children. May her soul rest in peace...Amen. PHOTOS: Kefee Being Laid To Rest In A Grand Style In Sapele, Delta State

The body of the late pop-gospel artist, Kefee (Irikefe Don-Momoh, nee Obareki) was given a queen’s burial yesterday Friday July 11th  in her hometown, Okpara Inland, Ethiope-East LGA, Sapele, Delta.   The whole town ground to a standstill as the body of their late daughter arrived Akpevwoghene Educational Centre, Okpara Inland, around  noon  in a white SUV with ‘Omega 1’ as the plate number. She was also in a white casket and was laid in state in the middle of the school’s football field while friends and family paid their last respects. The casket was not immediately opened to the public but a funeral service was held in her honour while Sammie Okposo, his band and other gospel artists took turns on the stage set up at the venue. Continue... The husband, Teddy, clad in white had arrived earlier and received the body along with members of Kefee’s family. The first took her into one of the classrooms and said some prayers before taking the body ...
