Kenya to evacuate citizens from South Africa as #xenophobic attacks rage

Image
Kenyan Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Amina Mohamed, said on Friday that Kenya would evacuate its nationals from South Africa as xenophobic violence increases. She said on Friday in Nairobi that though there were no Kenyan casualties in the uproar in South Africa, government was planning to evacuate those it could get hold of. Mohamed said the evacuation had become necessary because of the fear that the attacks may spread across the country. According to her, this measure will be taken after a new spate of violence has left at least five people killed in the eastern port city of Durban. Some foreign-owned shops in Johannesburg’s downtown area have reportedly shut this week amid the fears, with the police maintaining a heavy presence in the city. Mohamed said some Kenyans living in the affected regions, mostly business people, had moved to temporary camps provided for victims, but not in large numbers. She said the Kenyan Mission in South ...

I predicted South Africa’s xenophobic attacks – TB Joshua

Image
A video has surfaced showing Nigerian pastor, T.B. Joshua, warning South Africans of a “youth revolt” in their nation which would result in deaths of “certain people”. The clip, uploaded to Joshua’s popular YouTube channel Emmanuel TV, says the controversial cleric prophesied about the deadly xenophobic attacks spreading across South Africa on Sunday 28th July 2013. “In the nation, South Africa, we should help them in prayer because I am seeing youth revolt,” the clip quotes Mr. Joshua as saying. “It will be very serious. A situation where youth will come out and… you learn that there is a protest. Some people were killed – certain people.” Mr. Joshua’s prediction made the front cover of South African newspaper-based City Press newspaper in August 2013 when Julius Malema, the fiery leader of South Africa’s Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), visited his church in Nigeria for “spiritual blessings”. The clip was posted alongside a message from Mr. Joshua to South Africans....

According to new reports, it's not a medical condition. The state commissioner for Information and Strategy said the illness and sudden death is connected to an exhumed corpse in the community. He said people who've died so far were those who had contact with the people who exhumed the corpse. However, a source told LIB that it was a group of people who invaded a shrine that are being attacked   "The said death by an unknown disease in Ode Irelein Ondo state, is not a disease as believed, it's actually a spiritual attack in the village meted on some indigenes in that locality who invaded the village shrine.." Finding 'juju' placed in various corners made me move out of Govt house - Gov Ajimobi

Image
Re-elected governor of Oyo state, Abiola Ajimobi has explained why he moved out of his official residence to his private residence. He said he moved out of the Government House to stay in his own private home after he discovered fetish things placed inside the house by some unidentified people.   He said his spiritual fathers aka Alfas advised him to move out of the government house so that the evil plans of those placing the sacrifices (ebo) within the premises will not work. He said this during the eighth-day Fidau for the late Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Sheikh Baosari Haruna in Ibadan yesterday April 16th. "They first came to you Alfas to give them prayers that will send me out of office, but my own Alfa’s prayers superseded theirs. Every morning, I go out for exercise. If you know the Government House very well, it has many interchanges, popularly called orita, I see all kinds of sacrifices (ebo) placed at these junctions. Worried by these developme...

Father Mbaka Again! Expresses His Happiness On Buhari's Victory

Image
Many Nigerians are happy about the outcome of the 2015 elections, but it is doubtful if there is anyone happier than Rev. Father Mbaka of the Adoration Ministry, Enugu, Enugu State. He is happy that his battle with the Presidency has ended in his favour, while he said the trial that his prophetic calling faced in the last few months was over. But if you think Mbaka is ready to sheathe the sword, you are pretty wrong. He demonstrated this on Tuesday night, when he spoke in an interview on the African Independent Television. On a programme, ‘O&M’, he said he was extremely happy when Buhari emerged the winner because he knew his prophetic credibility was at stake, having turned against Jonathan some weeks before the election. Mbaka said he liked Jonathan as a person, saying he was a good man. But he noted that the outgoing President surrounded himself with bad people. Besides, the cleric insisted that the good luck that Jonathan’s coming symbolised had t...

Joshua is shown telling his congregants on April 18th 2010 in a clip posted to video-sharing site YouTube. “There will be a new party to challenge the existing party,” he reiterated, repeating his statement the following week on April 25th 2010. The clip jumps several years later to January 19th 2013, where the cleric warned that disunity would be the bane of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). “Pray that this will not bring the government to its knees – serious disunity.” A year later, specifically On February 16th 2014, Joshua spoke again. “You were thinking that this mighty party, PDP, would remain,” he stated, reminding people of the prophecy he had given back in 2010. “The ...
