Nigerian Army ends operation python dance in Southeast

T he Nigerian Army has declared that it has ended it’s operation in the Southeast. General Officer Commanding (GOC), 82 Division Nigerian Army, Major General Adamu Baba Abubakar, speaking on behalf of the Chief of Army Staff. Lieutenant General TY Buratai formally declare the end of Exercise EGWU EKE 11. ​ The ceremony took place ​Saturday night ​in Sector 1 Tactical Headquarters at Umuahia, Abia State​, ​ with the traditional activation of camp fire to formally signify the successful completion of the exercise. There Is No $25b Nnpc Contracts Anywhere — Presidency

IT IS IMPORTANT TO SET THE RECORDS STRAIGHT C laims on social and traditional media that $25BN worth of oil contracts were awarded by the NNPC or that $25BN in NNPC funds is missing are both false. According to Mr. Laolu Akande, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Office of the Vice President, no contracts were procured by the NNPC based on the leaked memo of the Petroleum Resources Minister of State, even though such impressions have been maliciously created in the past few weeks.
