Yesterday you read about the man who was caught eating a dead woman's face in a hotel in South Wales (read  here ). Well, here are the faces of the victim and the killer. The woman has been identified as 22 year old Cerys Yemm, who worked for clothing giant Next. Cerys had met 34 year old Matthew Williams (pictured right) at a bar and he managed to persuade her to follow him back to his hotel and said he’d get her a taxi home. He killed her in the hotel... We need to pray for the people in the northern part of this country, because this militants are not smiling at all. You need to see how they are free styling weapons on the street shooting and the military are nowhere to be found.  Some times i begin to wonder if this is actually happening in Nigeria, the Giants of Africa. As i was going through my facebook, i stumbled on this write up by a friend of mine on facebook, after reading it, i thought it wise to share this on my blog because i believe that there is truth in what he wrote. See below and read it for yourself. W e are made to believe that some elitist "untouchables" are funding Boko Haram. This diverts the attention of government from looking into how they source for funding and how they operate. Don't look at sponsors of Boko haram as very wealthy and VIP individuals. Of course, there are those people amongst the elite who are sympathisers of Boko Haram, and I believe that's where it stops. Boko Haram is largely self sustaining. Insurgents are not paid- they  are Jihadist, volunteers and With as little as N3,780, a powerful bomb can be put together.  You can even buy the materials online. They get weapons by attacking military bases, police barracks and laying of ambushes against security forces...

Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers state has said he never took part in rigging of elections by the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) when he was a member of the party. Amaechi disclosed this on Thursday, November 6, while addressing newsmen at the Government House in Port Harcourt. The governor, who noted that he had always insisted that the people’s mandate remained critical, called on the newsmen to ask the PDP if he had, at any time supported rigging, Punch reports. Bomb blast at a First Bank branch in Azare, Bauchi State has been reported. Blast reportedly occurred at 10:20am, at the ATM stand of the bank. This is the town where a bomb was planted few weeks in a public bus park that caused the death of many. Details to follow later.

The girl, Blessings,(pictured above) faced one of the most traumatic days in her life as her dear mother burnt her with a hot pressing iron. The reason behind this incident, is that the mother found her licking baby’s food!  It is very unfortunate that Blessing’s dad a police man, knew all along what had happened to her daughter but just ignored till a neighbour who lives close to the family reported the case to the authorities. Teachers and the head of the school that Blessings attended decided to visit her at their home only to find her quietly resting outside the house, taking in the unbearable pain. A man has revealed he has been injected with the Ebola virus on purpose in a bid to fight the deadly disease. And according to Mirror.co.uk, Peter Hubbard said he hopes the small risk he is taking could help create a vaccine to prevent further outbreaks of the disease, which has claimed thousands of lives in west Africa. Speaking from his apartment in Alexandria, Virginia, Mr Hubbard, a consultant who specialises in natural gas and peer markets, said: "I get a lot of satisfaction out of the fact that this could potentially develop into a viable vaccine that prevents another outbreak. It might not help out with the current outbreak but it could prevent a future one, so that's a real plus in my book." Mr Hubbard, 35, is one of 20 people taking part in clinical trials for a vaccine at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in the United States.

Sixteen men who were arrested by soldiers in Potiskum, Yobe State have been found dead just hours later with bullet wounds, community leaders said yesterday, demanding an inquiry. According to AFP,Troops rounded up 17 people, including an imam, from Dogo Tebo in the city as they left a mosque after morning prayers on Wednesday. Residents and hospital staff said the bodies of all but the imam were later found in the morgue at the Potiskum General Hospital. “All the bodies have gunshot wounds on them,” said a nurse, who asked not to be identified because he was not authorised to speak to the media. The bodies had been brought in by soldiers and were identified by community leaders and residents from Dogo Tegbo, One resident, Tukur Danu, said the cleric was not among the dead and added: “We are worried about what they could do to him.”  Community leaders believed the 16 men were picked up and killed because all of them were from the Kanuri eth...

This is the face of the man who was caught eating his girlfriend's face after he gouged out his victim's eyes...The 34-year-old named locally as Matthew Williams  was allegedly eating the 22-year-old victim's eyeball when security staff at the Sirhowy Arms Hotel, south Wales, burst in on the horrific attack. Staff raised the alarm before police arrived to find the female victim unconscious on the floor with appalling facial injuries. Officers then tackled Williams  who was reportedly released from prison just two weeks ago with a high voltage Taser, knocking him to the floor.Moments later, he became unresponsive and died, despite efforts to save him.The woman also died from her injuries...
