The book allegedly contains lies by its author, the former President Olusegun Obasanjo. Col. Fadile said he and others will ensure Obasanjo is returned to prison, where he should now die.

According to Daily Trust, the 25-year old Asten was dressed in female attires which made members of the public suspect his motives. The plateau-born suspect was reportedly almost lynched by a mob before men of the Nigerian Police came to his rescue. The arrest was confirmed by the Public Relations Officer of the Bauchi State Police Command, DSP Haruna Mohammed, who gave the information to journalists. Mohammed said the suspect was arrested in a female attire wearing a weave on at the mobile round about along Jos road in Bauchi. He informed the journalists that the suspected was being interrogated in order to establish his motive.

34 year old snake handler, Jamie Guarino, filmed his 14 month old daughter, Alyssa, playing with their family pet, a 10 year old 13ft Burmese python called Nay-Nay. This Python is one of the five largest snakes in the world. The snake handler said he filmed the video with his baby girl at their home in Michigan to educate people about snakes and how harmless they can be. Someone should please come get this child. At least 11 people were killed and six others were injured in Cameroon when Boko Haram militants opened fire on a bus late Thursday, local time, residents said. The attack took place in Waza, a region bordering northeast Nigeria. The Islamist group, which dominates swaths of Nigeria's largely ungoverned north, has increasingly conducted attacks outside of Nigeria, targeting Cameroonian military forces and civilians. At least 23 people were killed in an assault by the militant group in the Mozogo district in Cameroon's Far North Region, said Mijiyawa Bakary, a regional governor. In May of last year, the group kidnapped 10 Chinese construction workers in Waza and killed another worker. The hostages were freed in October.

Search crews have now recovered 30 bodies from the  AirAsia crash , and an Indonesian navy official says five of them were found still strapped in their seats. Col. Yayan Sofiyan, commander of the warship Bung Tomo, told MetroTV that the five were among seven bodies retrieved from the Java Sea and taken to an Indonesian vessel Friday. Indonesian search and rescue chief Henry Bambang Soelistyo later said a total of 30 bodies have been recovered from Flight 8501. There were 162 passengers and crew onboard the plane that went down Sunday, half-way through a flight from Indonesia to Singapore.

An inaugural meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Southwest was held in Akure on Saturday with the objective of outlining a strategy for winning the 2015 elections in the area, with Ekiti State governor Ayo Fayose reiterating the party’s old mantra that the presidential contest is a “do or die” affair. The returnee-governor said the party must be prepared to use its control of the army and the police, which it currently controls, to ensure victory for President Goodluck Jonathan at next month’s polls. The meeting was organized by the PDP South-West co-ordinator, Gov. Olusegun Mimiko, who shared the high table with Senitor Iyiola Omisore, Mr. Kolapo Ogunjobi, Senator Musilu Obanikoro, Governor Ayo Fayose and various leaders from the zone.
