A team of online sleuths claim to have exposed an attempt to smear the former governor of Nigeria's central bank. Lamido Sanusi - who is widely respected in the international community - was suspended from the bank last month  after accusing the government of corruption. A few days later, a number of journalists were surprised to receive an email from an unknown man, Wendell Simlin, which linked Sanusi with the militant Islamist group  Boko Haram . The group is believed to have killed thousands of people  in a string of brutal attacks  since 2009. But a handful of digital activists who obtained the email say it was actually written by one of the president's aides, after they found his name in a Word document attached. I married this man in an elaborate wedding that cost both our parents a fortune less than a year ago. I can't stand him anymore.  And he's told me on numerous occasions that he can't stand me either. At the time I married him everyone told me he was the ideal guy and comes from a good, wealthy family. We dated for less than a year before getting married but the marriage was over before it even started.  He's spoilt, egocentric and with him there's no middle ground. It's his way or the high way. These things I only noticed after I married him. I sincerely can't see myself spending the rest of my life with this man. The last time he touched me was just five months into our marriage.  I'm sure he's getting it somewhere else but who cares? We are still keeping up appearances and still live in the same house but I want out. TMZ is reporting that B.Howard could be Michael Jackson's son after DNA results were made public From  TMZ There's a 99.9% chance a 31-year-old man is Michael Jackson's illegitimate son ... at least that's the claim after an alleged DNA test turned up a match. According to the test results -- obtained by Alki David and his company, FilmOn.com - Brandon Howard is almost certainly Michael's son. David told TMZ Live he got MJ's dental impression from a Beverly Hills doctor that he got at an auction. The impression is 30 years old but David says its filled with DNA. Brandon - who now goes by B Howard and looks and acts very much like Michael - was not present for the unveiling, but David says he had Howard's DNA and it matched up. Who believes this? A delegation of members of the National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party who went to the Abeokuta residence of President Olusegun Obasanjo got a shocker of their lives as they were stopped from entering the house of the respected leader and turned back at the gate. Obassanjo celebrated his birthday on Wednesday, the PDP didn't send anybody to his house and after they had realised their mistake the party hurriedly put up a delegation to go and see Baba on Thursday. But they were prevented from entering Obasanjo’s house by the security men. The top security men, who came out to brief the delegation, simply told them   “Baba has no appointment with your delegation and Baba said you should drop any gifts you have for him at the security post.” The delegation led by the National Auditor of the party, Mr Adewole Adeyanju left the place with sad faces. Kwara State Commissioner of Police, Ambrose Aisabor, on Thursday paraded a female student of College of Technology, Offa in Kwara, Miss Mary Awolola, said to be a cultist, for allegedly luring her friend to be gang-rapéd by five of her cult members. Miss Mary confessed at the Police headquarters in Ilorin that she was also gang-rapéd much earlier by four boys before she was initiated into the cult group. She confessed that she lured her friend to be rapéd by her cultist friends because she refused to join them in spite of the pressure she mounted on her girl friend... Mary also said she regretted her action having been arrested by the Police and more importantly that she was not gaining anything from the cult activities. “I did not gain anything from cultism. A bogus bride trying to wed the fourth time was caught by the police before she could tie the knot. The bride,Raquel Neto Furtado De Andrade had already married three Nigerians to help them reside permanently in Britain, collecting cash in return.

A banker in his fifties died while he was sleeping with a fish seller popularly known as Alhaja Adegbite in her house. The woman and the banker both reside in Oluwatedo community, Ayetoro-Itele in Ado Odo-Ota Local Government Area (LGA) of Ogun State. Alhaja who was said to have abandoned her husband for whom she had children, when the man suffered stroke and was hospitalized had received the banker in her apartment on Monday afternoon and in the evening residents suspected the man must have passed away as she was trying to get rid of the corpse. They then alerted the community leader, who alerted the police. The police, members of the vigilance group and some community leaders theredore, arranged to monitor Alhaja’s movements.  

As you read this, a rude official of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, LASTMA, Taye Shittu, has been arrested by the Nigeria Police at the Pen Cinema Police Station in Agege for giving a Chief Magistrate, Mrs. Komolafe Abimbola of Court 2 Ikeja, Lagos, a dirty slap. Mrs Komolafe was on her way to the office around the popular Pen Cinema area when the incident happened on Wednesday. Shittu accused Mrs. Abimbola of not obeying the traffic light and ordered her to come out of her car. She obeyed Shittu’s instruction after which there was an argument between them.  In the course of their argument, he landed the woman a hot slap. Anyway, I hear he's been dismissed. Good!
