The Cross River State Police Command killed one suspected robber and arrested six others shortly after they attacked a micro-finance bank in Calabar on Tuesday, November 15th. The state Commissioner of Police, Mr Jimoh Ozi-Obeh, disclosed this to newsmen yesterday, at the command's headquarters in Calabar while parading the suspects. Ozi-Obeh said the surveillance team attached to the Atakpa Police Division received a distress call from concerned members of the public informing them about an ongoing robbery at a bank located along Mayne Avenue by Inyang Street in Calabar South.
