Psquare  have revealed that their earlier fight which threatened to split their partnership was due to the passion they had for the fans and for music. Former Nigerian Military Dictator Babangida Hospitalized In Germany

Former Nigerian military dictator, Ibrahim Babamosi Babangida is hospitalized in Germany. Sources told Saharareporters that the former army general popularly referred to as "IBB" was rushed to Germany 10 days ago from his hilltop mansion in Minna, Niger State. President Goodluck Jonathan, who departed Nigeria for the annual United Nations General Assembly, will pay a visit to the ailing general in Germany later today.  In a press statement released from the President's office earlier today, Mr. Jonathan’s handlers   claimed he plans to spend one day for a private visit in London. However, Saharareporters learnt the private trip was being planned to pay a secret visit to Babangida in Germany. Mr. Babangida’s ailment relates to a chronic back ailment for which he earlier had surgery in Germany. Our source disclosed that Babangida is severely ill.  A friend of the former dictator downplayed the severity of the ailment saying he is "getting better.

From a person who seems to have an insight into the operations of Boko Haram came chilling accounts of girls taken captive by the terror group. “Girls tell how they were raped every day, week after week. One girl was raped every day, sometimes several times a day by groups of men. Some did not survive the ordeal,” Stephen Davis, an Australian negotiator, who visited Nigeria to mediate the release of the Chibok girls captured by the Islamist group, recounted in an article contributed to Sunday Vanguard, titled, ‘When I met Asari and agreed a peace deal.’ The negotiator spoke on a day it emerged that Boko Haram and government representatives held talks on swapping the group’s members in prison with the kidnapped schoolgirls. At the talks, government reportedly rejected Boko Haram’s demand to exchange 30 of its commanders in prison with 30 of the Chibok girls. Some Terrorists Surrender With Weapons In Konduga

Following relentless onslaught by troops, many members of the Boko Haram terrorists group are beginning to surrender voluntarily. Some of them submitted themselves and their weapons to the leadership of the troops in Konduga during a further campaign at the weekend. The Defence Headquarters has tweeted that "as the heat on the terrorists continues, five terrorists surrendered on Saturday (September 20, 2014) with all their weapons to troops at Konduga, pleading for mercy." Other captured terrorists who refused to surrender have also been giving useful information on the subsequent plans of the group in an apparent offer to cooperate. In the last few days there have been several attempts by terrorists desperate to gain entry to Konduga, which the Nigerian troops, have continued to foil. The 12 soldiers sentenced to death deserve to die - Ex-generals

While the rest of us are begging for leniency, some retired senior military officers say the 12 soldiers sentenced to death last week for attacking their GOC at their barracks in Maiduguri, deserve to die. Speaking with Sunday  Punch , the ex-generals said it's necessary for the military to maintain its age-long rules on discipline, hailed the judgement and said it must be carried out. A former Commandant of the Nigerian Army School of Infantry, Brig.-Gen. Williams Obene (retd.), said, “I commend the boldness of the Army authorities to follow the terms and conditions of service – the extant laws that established the armed forces, particularly the Army– and for trying to uphold discipline at the highest level.
